Well batted by Jadeja.
Questions will be raised on why we look like a team now, and haven't previously on the tour.
Big show gets a wicket. Where are the trolls who were here when got a lucky one? I'm guessing its different when India is playing
Getting fired out for not offering a shot & batting under the 3 stikes rule are not the same thing.
The problem with jadeja getting a poor decision and getting out is that the runs have dried up and this could just mean a difference of 50 runs ....Aus got a monster advantage with that howler as it looked not out instantly even before the slowmo
What match are you watching. Jadeja was out, didn't bother to use that thing in his hands so he can head back to the sheds for that.
Tendu copped TWO gift decisions & made a valuable 30-odd.

even if the ball wasnt hitting the stumps?
31.1
Lyon to Tendulkar, no run, huge huge lbw shout as Tendulkar is beaten on the sweep. That has pitched middle and leg, and has hit him in front of middle. Only height could have saved him, but I'd say he was a goner there. Lucky to get away with this. Kettleborough is the umpire

It seems sarcasm isnt your thing
nor yours
How is bringing up actual facts sarcasm?
Lion where was this a few games back?
Tendu did not get two lives. The first was out but the second one hit him high.
Anyways great day, probably the most absorbing day this series. Will look forward for India's 300 and maybe 325!! Less than that India going to chase 250+ which is tough. For the first time, a white wash is having a probability less than 0.5!
What facts? of course guys can score 250+ against Oz (Lara 277 in Sydney springs to mind), you fail to recognise sarcasm and then try to tell others about it?
I thought you were talking about Indian batsmen. Only VVS has scored above 250 vs Aus IIRC.
This. But some posters just make it seem like Lyon was hitting on the pads every ball
The 300 is far fetched IMO. 325? Please . Lets hope the last two wickets bat longer than the usual block one edge one innings. My bet is on 275. And its not captaining Australia. Watto is not going to let India off the hook.
Kumar can bat. He should shield the other batsmen. 300 is a possibility. Ashwin's last over dismissal nearly killed all hopes of a decent lead though. It is the Aussie tail that has given them the edge it is up to our tail to do their bit.

Youre again forgetting the main thing. Watson is no Dhoni. He will be proactive and wont go through the motions. India under Dhoni has always struggled to wrap up the tail. I can go back to matches in 2010 to prove a point. He has been clueless as a captain for that long and he hasnt even thought to identify this problem and find a solution to it.
Johnson averages 23, Siddle 14, Pattinson 31, Lyon 14, together these four can add 82 runs on average. You are underestimating them while claiming that Dhoni struggles to wrap up the tail.
Tail is a big problem for most teams today. Tail-ender averages are 20-25 these days and they are capable of getting 50s and even the odd 100. Almost all SA test players have a test hundred to boot, tail is not it was 20 years ago. Tail enders practice batting in the nets and take it seriously. The effects are bound to show up. ODIs and T20s have further added the scoring tempo - runs come faster than before and the tails invariably make more runs than before.
SA, Eng and Aus have pretty strong tails, the last four adding up nearly to 100 runs on average. On their day, they can add 200 runs together. Pakistan was done in by the SA tail recently in spite of their decent bowling.
Allan Border said that's convict blood coming out. Would like to ask is it apt to use such remarks. Isn't the word 'convict' considered offensive ?
Today when Vijay got out Aussie bowlers sensed an opportunity and along with fielders went for full on sledge mode.
Warner was looking the most excited out of the lot. Sanjay and Shastri said he is totally leading this pack now.

Fire Bird;5674186[B said:]I think the second appeal was going over the stumps[/B]. It bounced sharply and hit him on the knee roll. The first one was plumb though.
In any case Sir Jadeja > bvioustrollattempt so I guess Aus really had the better end of the deal. Who knows Sirji would have put a 300 burger on you guys
Agreed. MSD and the bowlers in our disposal(ATM) may not have done much if they face such decent lower order batters everytime. This is where we need a bowler like Umesh or Shami who can bowl pacy deliveries at block-holes.
About us scoring 300 or 325 in the 1st gig surely looks far fetched with . We don't have the lower order in the quality of Siddle/Pattinson or even Lyon (may be Ishant to a certain extent can play out few balls like Lyon).

Nope i don't think so, i checked HawkEye on Cricinfo and it showed it was comfortably hitting the stumps.
63.2
Maxwell to Jadeja, OUT, Maxwell takes a wicket second ball, although Jadeja is unlucky here. This one is pitched on a length, outside off, and Jadeja pads up. However, it turns only slightly, just straightens, and hits him on the pad. This wouldn't have hit the stumps
RA Jadeja lbw b Maxwell 43 (49b 6x4 0x6) SR: 87.75
I should think so. He's played less test matches and he also didn't bowl against Aus in 06/07 ashes where Anderson struggled.
Not sure why you bothered anyway. It's not like Pakistan will win a series in Australia anytime soon.
Yep. The first 10 overs tomorrow for huge. If India score 40/0, they're miles ahead.
1/20-30 and india slightly ahead.
bowled out for lead of 20-30 and it all even.
