True but Dhawan can't play swing either. The top 3 Indian Batsmen are very goos, better than English but two of them dont play tests. They can be beats on typical ODI wickets but a pitch like this is always going to be difficult for Rohit and Dhawan. Kohli had the talent to bat beyond 10 overs in these conditions but he was out to a ball he usually doesn't get out to. Top 3 will Continue until next WC and will co time to dominate on regular pitches. They can play on greenish wickets as they did against Pak but can't play top class swing bowling like this. Challenge is to find 4th and 5th Batsmen that came core hundreds.

I always felt Jadeja is a batsman first, batsman first, batsman first! Probably India should have persisted with him make him play in Top 6 regularly, just regularly! By this time he would have got the gauge of International Batting! India should have persisted with his batting like how Sri Lanka persisted with Jayasuriya, Bangladesh with Shakib... India got either carried away with his bowling (and used him just as bowler) or dropped him when he went out of form! Just didn't see the "batsman" in him! Should have given him some confidence and responsibility! If he had got settled as batsman (at least to the level of Jadhav, DK, Rahul, Rayudu etc, which we were happy about!) then his bowling & fielding would have been actually huge - huge bonus! He would have been on par with Kapil as best Indian alrounder!

I am being emotional on how he is batting today (and he bowled so beautifully yesterday), fielded like a dynamite throughout the series!
