may be sarfraz should give up test captaincy . he is good for T20 and ODI . he will drop catches and bat poorly with captaining this test side . Asad may be ??
 
On one side Amir is putting pressure .. on the side .. Rahat and Faheem bowling just to get the over done by .. 0 throught process .. hoping they will get luckey some how by throwing fuller and leg side length.
 
Where is the hype brigade who were saying this attack is world class LOL? Struggling against Ireland, wowwwww.

Also what about revolutionary Sarfraz? Struggling against the mighty Ireland. What a joke.

Sarfraz should call Abbas to final overs .. he might get lucky break ... this is the time, as it is almost the close of the play Ireland might play a lose shot.
 
Ireland should probably declare. Certain Pakistani players will not relish batting in the cold, nippg morning with a hard, new ball chasing a total in the 4th innings!
 
I thought Ireland would easily lose against Pakistan but its bowling is nowhere close to where its standard used to be. Ireland should look to draw this test.

Respect. Can't think of any other nation that has surprised everyone since their world cup debut in 2007. And such a likable team too.

Brother it could go against Pakistan as well if the lead is more than 200 considering the weather forecast. Or it will be a very close win for Pakistan.

Well that I know, point is neither team can play for draw. It’s almost favoring Ireland now. They would want a fair crack at Pakistan instead of a weather induced draw
 
There have been some extreme lows in Pak test team history, but this is something else, but you know even an unimaginable loss here won't let us Pak Fans to give up on our team, because this same hopeless team can blank England 2-0, Following this team ain't meant for the faint hearted, invest your emotions at your own risk.
 
Cant believe sarfraz did the follow-on, at the same time have to show massive love and respect for the Irish cricket team, they showed today that their not going to give up and have a good chance of winning the game, if Ireland does win today as a Pakistan fan i will feel sad, but as a lover of cricket i will be happy for the Irish team, regardless of the result watch out world cricket this is the spirit of the fighting Irish men
 
What a day of Ireland. If it were not Pakistan they were playing I would be praying for their win. And I honestly believe they have a strong chance now
 
No offence but it serves those fans right who were getting way too arrogant after Ireland's first innings.

i think it's sarafarz captaincy that has brought pakistan into this situation.
May be pakistan win tomorrow, but it will very very difficult agaisnt england.
 
Are Pakistani fans actually concerned about losing this match? I mean it's only 140 runs! You could get the last 3 wickets for 5 runs in the morning. I mean, when was the last time Pakistan lost a Test match chasing 150?
 
If we remain calm then should be comfortable.

If we lose it will be utterly embarrassing and hard to ever live down.

Looks like Pakistan are facing another winless test particularly with the weather reports for Dublin tomorrow. If this happens would be Pakistan's worst test since Misbah's Zimbabwe defeat.

We must have pretty low self-esteem if we don't think that a score of 150+ is chaseable.
 
LOL.Pakistan again is choking under pressure whereas Ireland was supposed to be under tremendous pressure.Its a shame that a top ranked test side can't beat a newbie in test arena.

Great stuff from O'Brien but Ireland are in this position due to dropped catches and Rahat Ali being Rahat Ali. Why not play Hasan? Why was Sohail Khan not picked?
 
Going by the endurance levels of these fast bowlers it turns out this team should never enforce a follow on. When you play in the UAE and on sub-standard wickets in Pakistan (for domestic games), the fast bowlers will never have the exposure to bowl long spells.

On the other hand in the SL series Pakistan were only playing one frontline spinner, so you expect a better effort and performance against a test debutant in relatively good bowling conditions.

On a positive note without this test match, Pakistan could have gone in to the England series with the selection of Rahat over Hasan Ali. Surely this test has ended his career. It is beyond a joke that he was selected in the squad over PSL form. He shouldn't be anywhere near the A team let alone in the XI. If Inzy is such a prolific selector according to his cheerleaders on here then he would have known that the same guy averaged 50 in England 2 years ago and therefore come to a rational conclusion that he's a liability.

Sohail Khan can't bowl properly in a 50 over match, you expected him to bowl in a match where Pak enforced followon?
 
They were helped by dropped catches and umpiring decisions(O'Brien was clearly out LBW) but still great fight back by the Irish. Pakistan should still win though.

Pakistan will win this I think but it’s not going to be the comfortable victory everyone anticipated.

India should learn from Pakistan’s mistake. We shouldn’t take Afghanistan lightly. They’re a good team and we shouldn’t be complacent. No need to take a friendly match very seriously but should make sure we win it comfortably.

A sub-150 score in the 4th innings isn't that unusual, not only for Pakistan but for other countries as well. Scores in the 4th innings of the recent India-SA series were 135, 151 and 177.
