These are ideal conditions for Sadaf. Tall and can swing the ball both ways with good control, hence his great record in both formats. The biggest injustice happened to a cricketer in Pakistan.
Rahat can swing the bowl and every now and then you see Rahat bowling a beauty. But his problem is his poor control and lack of heart.
Listen mate I’m just stating what the commentator said.Everyone has dropped catches, not just Amir.
36 for no loss. What happened? Forgot to swing in 2nd innings?

Good response from Ireland. It will be important how they play the spinner, especially as the sun bakes the pitch.
As for Pakistan, what is the point of Rahat Ali? Especialy when you have Hasan on the bench.
I bet if these too can get deficit under 100 Pakistan would panic. 100+ can be a winning lead
15 drops in 17 matches is ridiculously high. I am not a superstitious person at all however I can see the correlation between a drop catch and the bowler being Amir.
It's a really really flat pitch.

I've noticed Azhar isn't the sharpest in the slips at all!!
Was a foolish decision to enforce follow on
Yea you can see that Shadab is tired. He is not used to bowling this many overs in a day.
This is why I love Yasir Shah's bowling in Tests. He is a stallion and bowls half of our overs in a day.

We should make a list of dropped catches off all bowlers in this time to actually make this a relevant arguement about Amir... what I see is excuses because Amir is already a rare sight in the wickets column, everytime he picks up a wicket its counted as 10 by his fans, and his dropped catches are also exagerrated when its a proven fact that he took out the same batsman later on and shouldn't add up to his total tally of wickets
Well his catch was dropped and IRE are still 10 wickets in.
Poor poor Amir... he must feel like beating Azhar Ali with a danda.*catches
Ireland only have a first innings deficit of 180. Have the rules changed? How did Pakistan enforce the follow on?

Nice fight back from Irish. But once they lose first they will lose rest cheaply. That's my prediction here. Congrats Pak fans.
Yes a 50 run partnership.Pakistan bowling again exposed
Pakistan bowling again exposed
If there’s no play on first day of a test match then the follow on target is reduced by 50 runs..
I guess as match was reduced to 4 days without it being started, follow on for 4 days was adjusted accordingly as can be seen in 4 day first class cricket.
Yes a 50 run partnership.
First for IRE and PAK are exposed.
Great fight by the Irish for sure.
And 100% agreed. Typical majority Pakistani fans. Could win 99 out of 100 games, yet, focus and cry about the 1 they lost.
Miles ahead in the game
Agreed, wrist slitting is insane. Even getting 120 more runs will be tough.
And I hope this shows Pakistan fans the value of Amir. Without him and the immense pressure he created from his end your other bowlers dont look near as threatening.

We should but there is a bait and that is Abbas has got some lethal yorkers as well.![]()
Have we had the obligatory ‘Wahab would have been useful here’ commentary yet
