I have had enough of Sarfraz. Cannot bat, cannot captain and cannot keep - why is he in the team??

Haris will be a massive upgrade in our batting and a top 5 of Imam, Fakhar, Babar, Haris and Malik is top notch.

Play Fakhar as the WK - don’t see a need for specialist keepers on LOI anyway.

Many don’t like Imam but I would persist with him for now.

I can see you didn't notice my "expert" advise during game thread - PCB should ask ICC to change a rule in cricket that they use in Davis Cup & Ryder Cup - non playing Captain

I hope pankha (fan) base will go a little soft on me next time, for suggesting that WK is not a good idea as Captain - that too for 3 formats being unfit & over weight (you can say fat), in his mid 30s, not skilled in his core job and not decent enough to make the XI simply as batsman, just in case.

Desperate people brought AB, Sanga, Gilchrist & MS as example (which is shameful for these guy - they deserve minimum dignity not to be compared with anyone & every one), but minimum cricket understanding should have suggested that if WK & Captaincy was too much for these guys, any given day they could have left the Gloves and play as one of the best batsman of their team. Even our midget was never, never in any risk of becoming baggage of the team as batsman only.

Can't change the captain so close to the World Cup. I really don't get these kind of threads and the posters calling for Sarfraz's head. I am in no way defending his performance, but a new captain at this stage would be more damaging to the team than Sarfraz's underwhelming performances.

In short, he's going nowhere. We should just hope he starts performing!

its amazing that people forget how pathetic the LOI team was in the last decade with Misbah, Afridi and Azhar at the helm..

Fakhar is the only hope for Pak batting alongside Babar, giving Fakhar keeping duties is gonna put an extra burden on him.

Leave Sarfraz where he is he has a good track record as captain and the team is used to his captaincy changing captains this late could hurt since WC is coming up next year.

We need a specialist wicket keeper, not a stop gap like that Umar Akmal situation a few years ago.
