This is an issue. The Hawkeye system has made cricket even more expensive even at Int'l level.

Test matches, for instance where it's needed for 5 days and you don't make profits anyway.

There has to be some sasta version of ball tracking that can be used in domestic cricket which does not dramatically increase costs.

True.. Naseem didnt impress me today, despite getting 3 wickets.. gave too many loose balls today.. … infact I think Akif bowled bette4 overall….though he gave too many wides though
 
Dahani a Lionheart like his captain. Big smile after that dropped catch. Need such cricketers in national side

Mubasir is good but he's no Maxwell. He should ideally replace shadab and be pakistan no 7 and pakistan desperately needs to up the spin quality and go back to their classic approach of 3 spinners + 3 pacers.

Mubasir is a million tines the better bowler and batter then shadab and should be the successor to imad wasim as he's fitter as well.

But He is no Miller or klaseen. Dhani not taking wickets agaisnt mubasir? Okay fair, but against amad butt?

Klaseen and Miller would eat Dhani alive the moment he let's it slip

Mubasir is good but he's a darter. Is their really no genuine spinner in pakistan anymore?

Abrar can spin but he slow as molasses and needs to improve the pace. He ain't bothering anyone with those 60 to 70kph deliveries.

Again I keep pondering the quesrion: Why oh why do you people keep putting chacha at slips? He has to be the .ost useless slip fielder I've ever seen?

That also means 4th slip is his position.

Ifti never said he's good at no 4, and if he did, he probs said it years ago. The only no 4 thread I'm aware of is the one you made and all that ik about Chacha is that he claimed he wants to bat higher up.

Chacha is the most useless slip fielder, he doesn't even she'll catches, because he never even makes the effort to catch, he has zero reactions at slips and it's guaranteed to go for 4 or be a drop.

Both are gun. I've seen the 2 bowl and their terrific. But noman chacha is old and won't. Make it till 2027.

Zafar gohar needs to be drafted in 100% but ik he won't get drafted.

Pakistan need to go back to their old model which use to work aka 2 proper spin allrounders and one genuine specialist spinner.

The best trio was chuck hafeez, Chuck ajmal and afridi.

But even afterwards it wasn't that bad, Hafeez came back and improved and Malik, Haris sohail and then yasir Shah and then imad wasim and even shadab for a time being did their part.

Usama mir, Current shadab and Nawaz are trash and this zahid fellow is horrible, A tail ender is thrashing him.

How do guys like this even get selected? The whole their top domestic performers is such a farse? They got butchered today? Only sheddy covered it up by hiding himself and mubashir genuinely bowled well, but mubahsir isn't even a wicket taker? He's just a filler over guy? Why is he your best bowler over 2 over jokers who are turning samad into Jos Butler?

Akif tore his ACL in the 2020 National T20 Cup which stalled his development after impressing in his debut season the prior year.

Not watching live now so you guys tell me if he's fixed this but Akif had a problem controlling his inswing. He often strayed down the legside - I don't know if that's the cause of the 6 wides he conceded today. An old poster explained it was partly to do with his front arm.

He also unusually bowled with a vertical leap at delivery which can't be good for your ankles/knees ?

Shame he hasn't kicked on the longer formats as I liked his skill and height, and Saj mentioned the coaches were impressed with his attitude when called up to the Pakistan camp around 2019/20.

Won't happen because husnain isn't pat cummings and can't hold his nerve ans score is too high, no choice but to play t20 whereas Maxwell could take his time.

And ofcourse can't ignore the massive skill gap between Maxwell and Butt

Probably right but wish he got a fraction of the chances Fahim Ashraf got who ended up with an ODI batting avg of 10 and bowling avg of 46. One of the worst investments we made.

He didn't do anything special, he has a much much much superior team, The other team has nobody besides Mubashir atm and saim(if he performs)

The fact that Misbah hasn't had the genuis insight to tell Rizwan that chacha is not a good slip fielder speaks volume.

Test cricket is Misbah's baby, Dude doesn't understand whiteball cricket. Like of you had someone like samad, why on earth are you sending him after agha and chavha?

No clue, idek why he was dropped from odi.

Pcb's biggest problem is that they drop a player from every format if that player isn't a friend from the roti gang and that player performs poorly in one format.

Like shehzad was dropped from test and odi and then all formats, weird on his test was the first format he was given the permanent axe even though that was the only format he was consistent in and actually performed properly.

Then same case with shinwari, Dropped for poor t20 form which has nothing to do with his pdi knocks.

While trash heaps like hasan ali and shadab keep coming back.
 
Kamran Ghulam, Abul Samad and Iftikhar Ahmed shine for UMT Markhors as they overpowered Panthers

In the opening match of the Bahria Town Champions One-Day Cup, University of Management and Technology (UMT) Markhors defeated the Lake City Panthers by 160 runs. The Panthers had a torrid start, finishing the first powerplay with a scorecard of 52-6. The Markhors' onslaught with the ball involved a three-wicket burst for Naseem Shah, two wickets for Akif Javed, and a brilliant run-out by Abdul Samad. Only Saim Ayub, out of the top six batters, reached double figures.

Amad Butt, batting at eight, stitched a 59-run seventh-wicket partnership with Mubasir Khan and a 59-run eighth-wicket partnership with Usama Mir, but all in vain as they were bundled out for 187 in 34.5 overs. For Markhors, Naseem and Akif bagged three wickets each, while Shahnawaz Dahani picked up two scalps. Zahid Mehmood eked out a solitary wicket of the top scorer Amad.

The Markhors opening batters Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Faizan put on 38 runs before Mubasir Khan removed former and tall Mohammad Zeeshan removed latter in the ninth and 14th overs, respectively. Kamran Ghulam joined forces with Mohammad Rizwan to stitch a 133-run third-wicket partnership, bringing up his 7th List-A century off just 88 balls in the 40th over.

UMT Markhors accumulated 107 runs on their way to 347-4 in the last ten overs of their innings.

Most promising youngster Arafat Minhas didnt get a game, what absolute thrash selection of all five teams, many player will sit out. In 2019 there use to be second X1, so every player who don't perform feel the pressure from second X1 to get replace but in this tournament talented will warm bench. Arfat should be in Pakistan colors.

However I don't get why every pakistani captain is obsessed with putting chacha at slips?

When has chacha caught anything at slips? He's the most useless slip fielder and it's guarantee to be a 4 when he's fielding their?

Be it Babar, Rizwan or shadab, Why can't anyone have the sense to say chacha stings at slips.
