Rizwan haters are utterly clueless about Cricket

Anyone who still thinks Rizwan isn't one of the best T20 openers in the world currently is out of touch with cricket
He's just one of the top batsmen in the world period.

I think he's the best T20 batsmen in the world...
Not just opener
He is in the absolute prime of his career, both mentally and physically. Hopefully it lasts for 3-4 years.
He will go down as Pakistan’s greatest WK batsman ever. Purely on quality wise he is already the best ever IMO, but perhaps needs some more performances under his belt to truly cement himself in the upper pantheons of Pakistan cricket.
As a keeper, he is right up there with Rashid Latif and as a batsman, he is better than all of them including 2005-2006 Kamran Akmal.
So he is definitely the best WK batsman Pakistan has ever produced.
Your second ever post I absolutely agree with

A thousand times better batsman than Sharjeel.
Agreed with you completely. If there is one Pak player who will walk into the great Indian test team of 2015-2021+, it is Mohammad Rizwan.
Talk Nah Rana
Sharjeel the chosen one on the other looked like a bloody shambles out there todayso much for going out guns blazing
Riswan isn’t perfect but he is the toughest cricketer I’ve seen in a while, Pak are lucky to have him among a mediocre bunch other then Babar
It is almost inevitable.
He will be the only Pakistani batsman to put up a fight in our defeat to India in the upcoming WT20, and certain fans will bash him because his fifty did not come in 12 balls and how he doesn’t fit into the T20 lineup…
Since T20 WC is around the corner , I will just do T20 & ODI comparison:
I am not a Sarfaraz fan , but a deep dive to Rizwan's inflated heroics can help to manage our expectations
Rizwan top innings vs teams (excluding Zimbabwe , since they are not in T20 WC)
89 vs NZ (Bowlers : Boult, Southee) good innings
17(17 balls ) vs NZ (Santner, Duffee, Tickner) No Boult, Southee, etc.
22(20 balls ) vs NZ (Southee, Boult, Neesham)
104 * vs SA (Bowlers : Sipmala, Fortuin, Seyman , Dala)
74 * vs SA (Bowlers : Linde, Lizaad, Magala)
73* vs SA (Bowlers : Linde, Lizaad, Magala)
82 vs Zimbabwe
91* vs Zimbabwe
14 (16 balls) vs Australia (Bowlers : Starc, Cummins)
31 (33 balls) vs Australia (Bowlers : Starc, Cummins)
0 vs Australia (Starc 1st ball duck)
63 vs England (Bowlers : Tom Curran, Saqib, Wiley, etc.) Moeen did not bowl
37 vs England (Bowlers : Tom Curran, Jordan bowled 1 over, Rashid, Moeen)

ODIs
=====
74 vs England (Bowlers : Saqib, Parkinson, Gregory, etc.)
40 vs SA (Bowlers : Rabada, Ngidi, Nortje)
0 vs SA (Bowlers : Rabada, Ngidi, Nortje)
2 vs SA (Bowlers : Sipmala, Hendriks, Smuts)
104 vs Australia in UAE 2019 (Bowlers : Stoinis, NCN, Kane Richardson) No Starc, Hazlewood, Cummins, etc.
115 vs Australia in UAE 2019 (Bowlers : Stoinis, NCN, Jhye Richardson) No Starc, Halewood, Cummins, etc.
=== The most overhyped cricketer for sure===
Is Mo Rizwan good enough to open the batting for England?
So tell us genius, who do you think should be in the team in Rizwan’s place?
Anyone but Rizwan.
He was out LBW, but WI did not appeal; He is certainly riding his luck very well
Some players can't capitalize on chances, he did today
Still a far way from him when he is tested while chasing a high score against good bowling!!
But yes, he is better WK than Akmals, of course
46 of 36 : yk
Good player but that's it, will take 10 - 15 t20 players before him.

Terrific cricketer. If I make an Indo-Pak T20 all time XI, he walks into it automatically as other keeper batsman have performed poorly in T20Is.
Rohit
Rizwan(wkt)
Kohli
Yuvraj
KL
Pandya
Afridi
Hafeez( can bat anywhere, blessed in all facets)
Bhuvi
Gul
Bumrah

He wasn't out LBW it's not his fault West Indies didn't review.Rizwan is the best Wicket keeper in the world akmal doesn't even come close.
I will replace Rizwan with Dhoni and make him the captain of this team. The guy knows something about winning T20 tournaments.
I will replace Hafeez with Ajmal. There is no need for him when Afridi and Yuvi are in the same team. Check Ajmal's T20 stats.
I will keep Afridi and remove Pandya because Afridi can hit sixes against any bowler, has a better strike rate and is a handy bowler too. He too knows something about performing in finals of tournaments.
Rohit
Rahul
Kohli
Raina
Yuvi
Dhoni (c) (wk)
Afridi
Bhuvi
Ajmal
Gul
Bumrah

I would go
Rohit
Rizwan
Babar
Kohli
Yuvraj
Dhoni WK
Afridi
Hassan Ali
Gul
Ajmal
Bumrah
As an Indian test captain, walking into Day 5 of a test match vs Pakistan or going into LOI knockout of a World Tournament, Kohli would be more wary of getting the wicket of Rizwan than any other Pakistani batsman.
This is an era of two great wicket keeper batsmen- Rishabh Pant and Mohammad Rizwan.
Can't believe there would be Pak fans who would question this quality player.
These are very few people and they are not Pakistan fans. They belong to the same ethnicity that Sarfraz belongs to so you will see few of them pop up on twitter, PP etc with claims of Sarfraz being a legend and icon of the game with his 22 average in SENA. They do not care if Rizwan averages 44 in SENA or has scored highest number of runs in the year or whatever. He is the reason that unfit, mediocre Sarfraz is out of the team so they will keep hating him.

You can appreciate him without being insecure for your own favourite player Pant bro. Takes a bigger man to appreciate talent regardless of competition
Rizwan and Pant are going to be the Sachin and Lara of this generation's wicketkeepers![]()
Rizwan >>> Dhoni as T20 player.
Dhoni at his position should be striking atleast 136 but he strikes at 126.
Even Younis Khan has won a WT20 as many as Dhoni has won as captain so that doesn't mean we should pick him also.
Both Rizwan and KL >>>>>>> Dhoni as T20 player.

I have no problem with that, trust me.You can appreciate him without being insecure for your own favourite player Pant bro. Takes a bigger man to appreciate talent regardless of competition

We don't need Dhoni who won one out of 6 or 7 t20 world cups he participated in.This proves that you do not do any research before posting your XI lol.
Rizwan's best position to bat is opening. When you have guys like Rahul and Rohit you don't need Rizwan at the top. Also at least check Younis Khan's stats before comparing him with Dhoni in LOIs and his captaincy.![]()
+1 couldn't have said it better myself. The other ones who hate him are the non Pashto speakers from Khyber Pukhtunkhwa

The way pp rates t20 players is just outdated and I don't think players like rizwan and Babar are anywhere near the top t20 players.
In tests Rizwan is probably the best in the world as of now and I have no problem in accepting that.
Not really. It proves that you are not aware of how fascinating the T20 batsman MS Dhoni was to begin with.
MSD played as many as 6 World T20 tournaments and his record is as awful as you could expect. He has a pretty awful S/R of 123 in WT20s and has not scored even a single 50 in his six international World T20s. Not even a single 50 over a course of six World T20 tournaments. He has no memorable knock in WT20 and his performance in WT20 is as bad as Bumrah's performance in WTC this year.
Also, I have Rizwan in my team as opener only which is his position.
jos butler, qdk, pant, poran says hi!!
Too many accumulators. They will play T20 like extended version of ODIs. Not a great team in my opinion.
You picked your XI from both Indo-Pak. Here are your options
Kamran Akmal
Mohammed Rizwan
Pant
Dhoni
Kami and Rizwan both are openers. I don't need them when we have someone like Rohit and Rahul. Pant will most likely bat at 4-5 and Dhoni will mostly bat at 6-7. The team you chose lacked a captain who knows something about winning tournaments. Dhoni gets the edge above Pant and others. You think captaining a team in a tournament is like a walk in the park lol. Ask Kohli who is dying to win a tournament. And relax this is not a real team who is going to World Cup lol.![]()
Dhoni has won only one tournament out of as many as six chances of captaining a WT20. Lets not fool ourselves on baseless illusion.
As a batter, Dhoni is a poor man's Rizwan. He doesn't have a single 50 over a period of 6 ICC World T20s. Basically, he is a Bhuvi level batsman in WT20s. Pandya is comfortably a better T20 bat than Dhoni. He strikes at 150 compared to Dhoni's 126.
I will have Rizwan open with Rohit and the Koffee With Karan duo in the middle order![]()
Rizwan is decentish player; but comparing him with MSD is too much
just wait for some time when Rizwan fails and everyone will wants him to be sacked asap
Most Sixes in T20Is since December 2020:
1. Evin Lewis 30
2. Mohammad Rizwan 28
3. Martin Guptill 26
4. Saber Zakhil 19
5. Jos Buttler 18
6. Nicholas Pooran 18
7. Andre Russell 18
Somehow I feel some posters will still find a way to say Rizwan can't hit sixes or bats too slow.

Impressive for a guy who can't hit sixes and bats really slowly
But but Sharjeel smashed Australian bowlers on the flattest wickets 4 years ago and Fakhar scored a doubled hundred against Zimbabwe A so they must be superior.

Haha exactly.
I'm just wondering what his detractors will point towards this time? His average, his strike-rate or his ability to hit sixes?
I mean its August and he's already broken the record for most runs in a calendar year by a T20I batsman.
