Exactly. You can't look at things individually. Bringing Butler or Warner into a Rizwan comparison is unfair since he's not competing with them. He's competing with Sharjeel and others and is miles ahead. If Sharjeel was so good he would have been smashing it in BPL.

That doesn't count. The only thing that counts is what the guy that wanted AA as captain wants to count. Riz has limitations, not as good as what we want him to be but way better than the fat fixers. My solution is to drop hm/ rest him to force to him to improve. As I predicted with Sarfi and Riz, our players need lots of competition. They get to comfy, too quickly with the senior tag.

Tbf. I agree with this as well. They should be banned for life in all competitive cricket not just international.
However, there are rules which allow them to return in place currently. I guess if they have served their punishment they can return according to the rules

However, they are plenty of ignorants who go into "rapturous applause" as he hits his 50 off 40 balls in the 13th over with the team at 80-0 with 7 overs remaining.

It's interesting as i think the other side are ignorant to the fact that the cupboard is bare and that batting is incredibly poor in Pakistan. Babar and Rizwan are the only ones holding it together. I'm happy to agree to disagree.
However several things are clear - Rizwan is an automatic pick right now, he is picking up accolades left right and centre, and the fantasies about replacing him are just fantasies because it isn't happening any time soon

When you play more than half the Innings then it's your responsibility to guide your team throw to the end.
It was his responsibility to make sure they he was thier right till they end and he failed to do that.

I don't think this was a deliberate measure from Shan, he just can't do it any other way.
Rizwan is absolutely brilliant at finding gaps and running hard which makes up for his limitations in hitting. Shan doesn't possess these skills.

A leg stump yorker from Shaheen isn't going to be classed as 'throwing it away' by anyone with any understanding of cricket.
Rizwan is rightly to blame. It's a t20 where batters don't have enough overs to settle. Once an opener made a 50 , its his job to finish off.
This approach can be acceptable in 50 over game but both riz and shan game plan was wrong from the beginning. If you haven't loose any wicket in 3 starting overs, it's time to take on bowlers.

When you know you have overs remaining from the likes of Haris, Shaheen and Zaman then they should have cashed in hard on the other bowlers.
Letting Wiese, Dawson and Talat bowl 6 overs for 48 runs was criminal.
I dont blame Rizwan too much today but in general Pakistani batters need to cut loose earlier and learn to put the opposing captain under pressure.
