RR loosing there way here , it will get more tough if they cannot get some lusty blows soon.
 
who is RR coach? he should be sacked! they send Rahane when RR is high.. they send Archer ahead of Binny.. Binny is actually a very good hitter of the ball especially against slower bowlers.. His fitness level might be poor but hitting ability is a lot good than most of his team mates.. poor call from team management to send him too low..
 
Any LoI side which has Rahane in it, let alone leading it, is doomed from start.
 
Thats a different matter! RCB has some very competent LoI cricketers like Kohli, AB and Moeen in its ranks. I think their bowling sucks, more than who leads them.
 
Jadeja should look to hit out , there is no point in lasting 20 overs with just 5 down , and not trying to go for extra 10 runs

The plus point of these two openers is the ability of finding boundaries at will without taking risks .

Raina should have tried few overs of spin earlier , just for a change , instead of medium pacers through pout
 
Good start by openers , but they need to keep up with run rate , and not allow it to go to high .

After a good start , DElhi loosing there way . On this slow surface anything over 130 can be difficult to chase
 
Kohli level captaincy from iyer, not bowling out 2 of 3 best bowlers of the day, complaining about losing the toss and then saying he would have bowled either way.
 
RCB is competing hard for the table bottom! Hopefully RR or any other team don't spoil their party!
 
You can open with Partiv Patel only if you have some best bowlers in your team like Bumrah, Rabada, etc. Then this ploy of pinch-hitting will come into picture when you don't have to chase/defend big totals! This guy is not even 10% of Gilchrist, he is just a filler WK-Batsman when you have a set of players being distributed in 8 teams!

If Parthiv is in the team , opening is the best option , he will do worse in middle order.
 
KKR would be looking to win this game and come back to winning ways as the tournament gets to the final stages
 
Moeen Ali destroyed Kuldeep Yadav. He kept bowling pies at him and Moeen had a field day.

I was thinking why Kuldeep did not go round the wicket rightaway after getting hit for 2 maximums.

If this how they bowl in WC, I am not too sure of India's chances.
 
Following the match on cricinfo and looks like Kuldeep Yadav was crying after that phainty he received from Moeen Ali. :moali

Wonder if Moeen would be barred from playing the rest of the matches because he hurt the sensibilities of India today. #GharMeyGhusKey

Prasidh Krishna is another brainless bowler. All pace and no brains. Not a single variation. Just keeps bowling gun barrel straight at 140k's. Pure cannon fodder.

his 14th (or 15th) over was excellent.. both Kohli (two times) and Ali got lucky there..

New generation Indian bowlers have pace but zero brains.
 
Once his innings is done, if i were KKR staff i would send rana for a psych evaluation. What sort of an idiot leaves 5 of the 6 balls in a powerplay over when your asking rate is 13.
 
Great knock from rana, even after Russell nearly screwed it up for rcb. Just like uthappa he stood up when it counted the most and won the game for rcb with the first 2 balls.
 
Moeen was the true MOTM. The best innings of the match and a crucial final over where he shut down Dre Russ.

I don't watch the IPL but RCB's batting has always managed to capture the imagination. Gayle, Kohli, ABD, Rahul and now Moeen batting together is pretty cool, at least on paper.
 
Nitish Rana is probably not even in the top 35 players for India, but would walk in the Pakistan batting lineup eyes closed.

Pakistan really needs to look at their local coaches at the under 15 level. The amount of trash batsmen that we're producing is alarming.
