I respect Dinesh Karthik for his truck loads of runs in domestic circuit! But no way I want him in the international side at this point of time. And unhappy with the decision of omitting KL Rahul. He should be in the team in place of Karthik. I don't see Manish Pandey making it big in the internationals. We should find a better replacement for him. And Kedar remains a mystery to me. Some games he does well, and some games he totally looks like a rookie trying to time the ball, his fielding never improved and his bowling isn't that impressive either. I would like to see Krunal Pandya in place of Jadhav or if Raina gets fit and improves his form cause Raina is a proven match-winner than Jadhav and a brilliant fielder. Our middle order looks very unsettled and this is the right time for us to test the new breed of batsmen! Shardul Thakur is still a question mark too! Chahal's fielding is okayish and his bowling is improving by the day! I would like to see a solid finger spinner in place of Chahal. Not sure how our Middle order is going to shape up before WC19.

A set batsmen could be dangerous towards the innings. Of course it will be a costly drop, NZ could also struggle on this wicket so they need to restrict India and getting wickets is there best chance of doing that.

Or perhaps we need to look at the context in terms of age/experience/batting line up/playing conditions/overall career strike rate etc. But that would be too complicated. Simplicity is what we accept. And "he is selfish/doesnt have the ability" is simple to understand.
