He used to...but you have to go back to 2019 World Cup against the Kiwis when he last played a meaningful in an ODI tournament....that was 6 years ago...and he has only gotten worse

What risk Tayyab and Niazi took ? Please man, stop this nonsense, criticise when required, not just for the sake of it.

90 off 66, is not a pressure situation with 60mtr boundaries
 
This is why insaid irfan Khan is useless in odi. It's madness to select someone with a List A avg of 27 and hope he succeeds.

He ain't a 19 year old youngsters who you can experiment with
 
Another so called young (Irfan) replacmenet of Rizbabar showed his class. Our domestic is ridiculous
 
Look on the bright side...at least we are not deluding ourselves after winning meaningless bilateral series against C list attacks...we know what is going to happen once we enter a real torunament so can keep our expectations to the first round knockouts that we have been accustomed to....
 
Only 3 bowlers with Nathan Smith being one of them is as weak a bowling attack as you can get.
 
Terrible call by Agha to call Tayyab for a run

Tayyab is a good batsman and is very unlucky today

Irfan Khan on the other hand is mediocre and hasn't shown anything of substance
 
Rest of the batters are so bad and it would take some sort of miraculous innings from Salman to make bulk of the runs.

It came down to 99 off 66 because of Agha's exceptional knock from get go.

At one point they needed 175 off 120 with inexperienced players like Irfan and tayyab to follow.

This is not how you chase 345. Block everything first up and then hope everything falls into place after over number 30
 
We have no real bench strength which is why we keep persisting with the likes of RizBar...mark my words...both will return for the T20 squad for the Asia Cup and the World Cup next year, and both will fail again at the biggest stage

Yet they are struggling with their superstars Rizwan, Babar, Naseem!

I watched from the beginning..he struggled against a C list attack t the beginning, manage dro score some runs in the middle and then failed to take us over the finish line...what do you think will happen when the proper bowlers return in an ICC tournament? No need to wonder...just cast your eyes to the last two or three past tournaments...

Hate to break it to you but gully cricketers like Tayyab are not even worth comparing to the likes of Rizwan and Babar. In past 6-7 years we are yet to see any promising young player who could be even worth mentioning or comparing to the likes of Rizwan and Babar. Salman and Saim I should add are coming up nicely though, so they all together make a good lineup

Kinda hard to find replacements when you have them hogg spots even in bilateral vs Zim Ireland ,bdesh

We do if we actually give them a run bhai.

Saim ayub, Maaz Sadaqat, Usman Khan( ik his technique is ugly but he disnt do too poorly today played better then Abdullah), Hussain talat and Haider Ali(on current form), Mubasir Khan, Salman Ali Agha and many others are talented.

They are not as talented as India, Australia, NZ backups but they can work andnturn pak into a mid card team.

Currently pak would struggle vs Bangladesh lol

He has list A hundred and FC avg of 45. Not a bad guy to give opportunities. Has the right attitude with probably the best fitness in Pakistan.

Missing the point...Tayyab and Niazi are hacks...but Babar can't finish a game anymore, even against a mediocre attack (not since 2019)

We'll know how good other players are only if Rizwan and Babar leave them some balls to face
 
A shafiq and Irfan are totally undeserving of this chance.

Tayyab has Earned his chance.

Kg discarded without a fair chance.

Haseebullah yet to be given a chance even after 51 avg and 9 list A centuries.

Fair enough but seeing our bench strength, I don't think we would be winning even those if Rizbabar aren't there

This is not NZ c bowling attack BTW it B+ with only Henry missing the rest missing are no better than the ones playing.

Because the likes of Babar and Riz have failed at the biggest stages of cricket that we have to tolerate the likes of Tayib and Niazi..of the RizBar combo actually performed when it really mattered, we wouldn't need to experiment with hacks like these...anyway time for bed..don't know whether I bother these days...

Did Chapman get out after scoring 70 odd? he took more time than babar to get going early on but he has gears that babar does nt.. Salman had to up the ante which should have been babar and then he took on best bowler of the opposition? Letting Bracewell get away with good figures. These things come back to bite
