I too saw that. But what was that for ?

last NZ vs Aus series , Haddin appealed for bowled , but the TV replays showed his golves dislodged the bails

you should find the video on youtube

Warne till this day is sore at Ranatunga, and that's precisely one of the factors.

Yaar well Ranatunga was a cheat, I have no problem saying that.

Good captain, good leader but he was a blatant cheat with his use of the runner. Not saying Sehwag is, just that he seems to get a runner more often lately. Maybe he doesn't and is just my anti Indian impression.

Who can forget Healy's comment on Ranatunga once on the field, LOL.

I just get one flashback when I see the word "runner" where Imran Nazir requested for a runner in T20 WC and he wasn't given at that time. I imagine if he was given the runner then he would have played like Lahore Badshah final against Hyderabad Heroes 3rd Final innings. Actually he was playing like that but if he had stayed there and umpires had allowed him a runner then it was Pakistan's match

Naa, a wrong decision here and there is always acceptable. It was daylight robbery by Bucknor which annoyed us.

Bucknor probably gave like 50 bad decisions against India through his life? i think so. Atleast 3 or 4 times India complained about him. Sydney was "Enough is enough".

Maybe you can set up a permanent picket line outside his house in Jamaica when he retires.

Imran Nazir had runner in the previous match due to injury... According to ICC, if a player is carrying from a previous match, he cant get the priveledge of runner... thats why the umpires didnt let him have the runner....on the other hand, Sehwag wasnt playing in the same match(remember that was the world cup final) coz he had a small injury during the nets and Dhoni knew that he will not be allowed a runner...

That's what I was confused about. I was like why would any one call him a cheat, LOL.

yeeahh I know he got a runner against NZ in semi-final and Sehwag wasn't playing the final either. But RAhul imagine if Sehwag was playing and Nazir playing without his running problem, then the match would have been 200+ loll

This is where bucknor opened his account against India

SOUTH AFRICA v INDIA 1992-93

Wisden home
Almanack archive home
1994 home

At Johannesburg, November 26, 27, 28, 29, 30. Drawn. Toss: South Africa. Test debut: C. R. Matthews.

After four tense, hard-fought days, the match was deprived of the climax it deserved on the fifth by a negative approach from both captains. Two incidents shaped its course as South Africa redeemed an appalling start to their first innings. Rhodes was 28 when umpire Bucknor decided that he had not been run out by a direct hit by Srinath from mid-off. Television showed that Rhodes failed to make his ground by some six inches. Bucknor, who was poorly positioned, declined to call upon the third umpire's replay facilities, though the Indians pleaded with him to do so.

Rain delay again, India innings over.

Cricinfo stating: New Zealand will need 218 in 28 overs.

Indians are the luckiest...

btw how come pitch does not have any grass and pitch is as flat as you could see in india. money speaks?:)

Don't exagerrate bro, remember the NZ series with Aus before 2007 world cup, consistent 300+ score not only being scored in the first innings but also chased. May be NZ cricket want it for themselves in order to make the ODI game exciting....
