This team just going a new level of low in terms of embarrassment every game. Not even bothering to watch this one

He does open in white ball so thats not an issue..talent and over hyping is the problem. Saim had four goes ..azam jad three i think ..the whole team is poor

Saim Ayub should have played today. One of Rizwan or Babar Azam or Zaman could’ve been rested.
 
Wow can’t believe they dropped Saim.

Players like Saim and Harris should have long runs in the side - would not even mind if they both open.

Rizwans entire innings is this

4 leg 1 0 1 1 0

Repeat that for 20 overs and end up with 70 off 50 balls and be called as best opener in World Cricket.
 
Babar and Rizwan need to be dropped permanently I recon

Their toxicness is currently on Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf level at the moment
 
Wow Babar getting exposed here. I have been saying this for a long time , this guy cant play half decent bowling let alone quality
 
Flat Track Minnow Basher Babar Azam.

Put him in a Perth type pitch against quality bowlers and his true Aukaat is in front of everyone
 
I feel PCB is backing the wrong horses for the T20 WC.
Usama Mir and Iftikar are mediocre.
Rizwan can easily drop down the order and let Ayub open with Fakhar.
 
After few leg side hoicksgrom rizwan,Nz pacers are bowling 5th stump line to rizwan and he is showing a straight bat for a risky single at max.Rizwan will be worked out completely in wc if he does not improve his offside.
 
Losing captaincy has affected Babar. Hopefully he will get over it by WC time and get his form back. Sad to see.

I don’t know how to tell you this but the two best performing batsmen aren’t getting dropped.
 
Rizwan has decided to take singles for rest of the match so his average doesnt get disturbed.
 
Will be supporting South Africa this t20 WC. They deserve our support.

I wouldn’t use that as a reason to justify Babar’s performance. As a professional player you are use to pressure, criticism on social media, peers and so on. That Zaka situation is minor to what Babar has gone through when he was on top of his game.

This just Babar getting exposed by good bowling.

They were the best performing in this series against New Zealand. As much as I like Saim, he failed against Afghanistan and now New Zealand.
 
Babar should have just saved face and retired hurt.

Hard to recall a worse innings in T20's than what we are witnessing right now.
 
Rizwan is amazing in knocking around , picking gaps and running those ones and twos. He should be batting in the middle order , no business opening the batting when you don’t have the game to clear the infield.
 
What a wonderful Powerplay by the Two best batsmen in the world.

I cooked my potato and egg curry and these 2 still are batting.
 
Lets not get too critical, let them play themselves in for the next 10 overs, get their eye in then we can usher them to push for their fifties. Team can then eat cake and everyone will be happy all round.

He could make a career forging personalities instead of wasting time nudging singles and doubles.

I am not watching. But i saw a clip on twitter that has compilation of Babar's shots in this match. It is almost like he doesn't want to get out (although should have been out twice).
 
7 overs and they are going at below 5 runs an over.

Probably going to gift easy wickets to trash that is Sodhi.
