Styris and Williamson are trying to steady the innings and build it slowly. Like Younis or misbah. Problem is if they do this they're gonna loose. They don't have big hitters down the order (and they can't exactly bank on a 50 at an afridi like strike rate). Best chance is if they keep the scoreboard ticking, getting 6 runs an over. They have to bat down the order. They can't afford to take the same strategy as Pakistan.

They do this, Afridi will be able to save Hafeez when they try and hit big too. Which will make it much harder for the Kiwis to score quickly.
