To be fair, Younis was going at the exact same rate, and if he'd had stayed to 30 runs, he probably would have had finished with the same sort of strike rate as misbah.


I think we need to accept that misbah has to be our anchor batsman. He's definitely the guy that takes the most trouble to get out it seems.


Younis Khan needs to bat lower down at 6. He needs to play more freely. He does much better at no.6 and has an average of over 40 there. We go on about Younis's batting success in the T20 tournament which Pakistan won, but he didn't even bat at no.3, he batted much lower down.

We really need someone lower down who can exploit the spinners. At the moment we only have afridi really there to target the spinners.
