With Ponting and Clarke not playing I thought there would have been a case for Hussey to bat 3 and Haddin to bat down the order. Alternatively Haddin could have opened as he has for NSW.

They want to get a good look at Stodge and Haddin I think. The series is lost, may as well experiment now.
 
We shoud make 330 atleast. I dont think that will be enough. We have a B grade attack without McGrath.

Stodge is a bit inconsistent eh. When he's good he looks really good, when he's not he looks about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.

I do as well. Though its gonna be hard for him to get a spot consistently in teh side with Vettori there, who is a better spinner at this point in time.
 
Voges should be in next. He should just rotate the strike and let Haydos hit the sixes.

At this point in time Vettori is a much better spinner than Patel. Patel's economy rate is pretty ordinary.

If i was the NZ captain i would play both of them because they already have Bond, Tuffey and Oram(who should be fit for the WC) and considering the Caribbean pitches it might not be a bad idea to play 2 spinners
 
Dhoni and Boucher both have 10 6s in an innings...

Anyone know the record for most sixes in an innings by a team?
