good question....no i don't know the answer but my guess is that it's PAK vs SL(same game where Afridi scored the fastest ton)
 
Can he get to Saeed Anwar's record? Might be a touch too far.

Suprisingly only 14 6s were hit in that innings.

444444444444444 for Haydunce. 181* and he carries his bat through the innings. Paced himself well, started slowly playing the anchor role while letting Watto and Haddin make the bit plays, then when he got his ton (off 127 balls) he really stepped up, 81 runs off 39 balls.

The Hamilton crowd are giving him a standing ovation, fantastic innings at the end.

But will it be enough? 347 to win. But the pitch looks pretty placid.
 
That was a pretty decent last over from Paris - only 14 off it in the end.

Nope. Aus had 14 sixes...Saf had 12 sixes

I have a feeling Aus have equalled the record - 16 sixes
 
Great batting Mr. Hayden...sir i always felt that you were a bit over-rated and not in the same league as Micheal Slater but today you have shut me up.... at least for 2 or 3 hours!
 
11 sixes is the most by any batsman in an ODI, shared by Shahid Afridi and Sanath Jayasuriya.

By the way, Haydos' century was the highest score by an Australian.
Beating Mark Waugh's 173 and Gilly's 172.
The score was also equal 8th with Viv Richards, for the Highest Individual score by a batsmen in One Day Cricket. Saeed Anwar has the highest score ever with 194.

Who was the last person to carry the pat through an innings, without his team going all out and in the first innings. I cant remember. :20:

Gary Kirsten did it vs the UAE in the 1996 world cup...he scored 188* and IIRC he got quite a few runs of Shakut Ducanwala

In that match, Ponting hit 9 of Aus' 14 sixes and Gibbs hit 7 off SA's 12 sixes!

Great fielding from Stodge, direct hit but Fulton is just safe.
 
McMillan has this tendency to flick balls on middle stump into the air just around short square leg - I've seen about 3 or 4 balls in that area so far. Given that they have a long leg already they should move someone to short square leg for him.
