timw for BW to gather the troops and have a word. With a bit of luck Pak could have had about 3 wickets by now.

We were right to go off but i think the game is in out favour however its marginal
 
FYI
Pakistan still has the upper hand in this game. West Indies with 9 wickets in hand and 242 more runs to score, certainly not an easy task. The highest winning score in the 4th innings on this ground has been 212-3 by West Indies defeating Sri Lanka in 2003.
 
I cant wait to see Afridi's aggression against them! (like in the last innings Vs India)

We are on top althoough its not an easy pitch our batsman are at the peak pf their powers and you dont have bowlers if rian doesnt intervene we are winning 2-0 thats for sure

Sars, to be honest, if we get Lara early, that's it for you guys. The rest of the batting line up has the tendency to crumble and you know that too.
 
lol thats a good one!! how come when we chased down 400 odd a world record test run chase to beat the best side in the world and of this decade lara made only 60 of those runs and the two men two make 100's were shiv are sars!!.

How come we one the ICC trophy with Lara hardly doing anything! and we perofmed very well in the test in guyana wihtout lara even playing!!

But any way with your bolwers and Laras form its questionable barring misfortune that he will even get out early!

Yoy may be on top but I still think we can win it as does Slats in the commentary box.
 
Of course u can stil win its a game anything can happen their are no gaurenetess this is sport, but we aer difenately sitting pretty right now in this game thats for sure

Why do West Indians start acting like p*cks when they achieve little milestones! Maybe because nobody cares about the insignificant West Indian islands! Go listen to some Reggae. Really.

It's not racism. These are facts. The West Indians contribute nothing to the world economy. I know it's off topic, but that is the sole reason for sars_pal rejoicing over little paltry milestones. The West Indian bunch don't have much to celebrate over. Sad, really. :)))

well the_game, sars_pal is confident that hes team is going to win and he has a right to be confident because they only need about another 240 then again you are right to be confident pakistan are going to win because the wicket is getting worser to bat on plus their lower middle order isnt anything to shout about. But then going on to talk about what each country offers to the world has no relevence so kiss and make up!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no need to resort to stupid insults just because you are frustrated and angry to put down sars_pal.....It's not needed..This is why its called a discussion board, and you should learn to respect other people, instead of resorting to dumb comments....sars_pal has not said anything wrong for him to deserve insults.....

Obviously your'e the only one who is taking sars_pal's comments a little too seriously....We are all understandbly frustrated, but that doesn't mean you should put down sars just to make yourself feel better.....
 
No wonder Tony Cozier goes through an orgasm everytime a West Indian batsman hits a four! Nothing else to do :))) . Anyways, game is still not over.
 
The grounds men are removing the covers under the supervision of the umpires. Would be interesting if we can get some play with these conditions today!

It's no excuse to use bad language, end of the day he's entitled ot say his team will beat us even if we are battering them.
 
Yeah hopefully play migght start soon! I have to say if we re start today it more favours you guys you have a alot more to gain in a shorter periosd of time for us it will be a coupel hours of survival but we should bat postive in that perios to try and inch closer if we can! Its been a great Test Match so far
 
yea I agree....pakistan have not been up to their marks,....but hopefully they can do something in this period....windies in their case yes have to survive and defend as much as possible..

Covers are completely off now. Groundsmen doing touch up work. I am guessing the play will start soon. We might get 30-60 minutes of play.
 
Ok the_game you are going way of topic here. Where on this site does it say you must only support Pakistan and if you dare support another team then you will be doing very wrong. I have read the sars comments and the only "tone" in his messages is that he is confident of his team, absouletly nothing else and there is nothing wrong with that, and please this site is about cricket not a disscusion thread on who offers what to the world through economy.
 
This is a frickin' test match discussion not some silly talk on supporting which team. Some people obviously are still at the height of immaturity.

Coverage of the the game has been indicated to begin again at 4:18 p.m. That is about 10 minutes from now.

Most of the times I have noticed that they call the play off around 5:15 p.m. So we shall get a maximum of about 60 minutes of play. I think it might be cut down further due to the bad light scenario due to the cloud cover.
 
Any body know roughly how many overs we will be able to fit in, if we can't fit in enough I think play may start a little earlier tommarrow
 
60 minutes -- ideally 15 overs! Usually teams get around 13-14 overs. So roughly 4-5 minutes an over.
