Sehwag has really piled on the pounds since 2004. Not surprising, he doesnt run singles/doubles..its all boundaries!
 
they keep saying the pitch is a beauty but i really felt the ball was seaming a bit early in the morning..

somehow i refuse to believe its gone completely flat.. im sure we would be able to knock them over for less than 250.. who wants to bet with me on that???

i say pakistan should declare after taking a 400 run lead.
 
A great session with Pak losing no wickets. This has set a perfect platform for some acceleration in the next session!
 
Pakistan should bat for another 2 sessions here and get lead up to 500. Then declare and leave india 3/4 overs to bat tonite and two full days also.

if pakistan cant take 10 wkts in 180 overs then its there own tough *****!

superb session for pakistan.

hmmm...this wicket seems too flat for my liking...i hope there's enough so we can get the indians out...has to have more juice in it still than faisalabad did...
 
what were those pardadar khawateen thinking when shiva in his oversize suit (that looks like its on a coat hanger), went loitering over to their side and started giving them his south indian hero looks??

i bet those khawateen probably wanted to introdue him to messrs bata and service ladies number 9 and 10.
 
I dont think runs will be too much of an issue as long as Pak can give themselves about 150-180 overs to bowl India out. The way we are going, we should well and truly have enough runs to defend last on this pitch
 
cartman why declare when we have so much time? I fail to understand. If you are so sure we will bowl them out for 250 then we can keep going for another three sessions at least.
 
Great batting by MoYo and YK. I believe we should play down until only a few overs remain in the day, and then let India bat. A lead of 500 would be great, but might take a while to reach. By the end of the day, I would be satisfied if Pak had a lead of around 425.
 
if the picth is flat 425 is not enough. bat tomorrow morning also , so that pakistan can h ave the roller of their choice on 4th day morning

ummm, we are 277 ahead dude. You think we can only get another 150 runs in two sessions? You don't watch much test cricket do you?
 
The lead is 277 and there are still 65 overs left in the day.
If we score at 4.5 an over we can get 293 more runs today. 277+293=570.

Pak can easily devclare for 550 and declare and then a few shoaib's thunderbolts and a wicket or tow would be great.
 
Waqar on TV saying that he is sure that Pak cant lose from here!! Also a lot of criticism of Zaheer Khan and Boycott joining in about how helpless Indian bowlers are at the moment - their only hope is Pak having a heavy lunch and making a meal of the batting!!

So a lot of hope - God, I would love to be at NSK for the next 2-3 days !!

Just reminds me of 1978 when I saw Pak V Ind there !

I say bat all day today and take some time on day 4 too. Day and half is a long enough time to get a team out. 2 days is a long time to let someone chase. You dont want them to have the time to play through there should be some pressure on them to bat quicker if they want to win.

319, 142, 242 and now this one which is 152 and counting
 
I would like to see Pakistan scoring 600 runs ... no point in talking about decleration

because a double hundred from Shewag ... and you are in for a game .... and the law of averages suggest that he is due for a big one! so lets bat india out of the game and then let the bowlers do the damage
 
phenomenal stuff from the two Ys! Dravid will have to pull something out of the hat now.

To think that we are only 2 and a half days into this match!
 
well ... the stage is set for Faisal Iqbal to have a 100 run partnership here ... if he dosen't then no one can complain if he gets dropped for a while!

indians will go for win if target is less than 500,cos it wud be easier to score 500 runs than bat for two whole days...shewag is due for runs,wud be unusual for dravid to fail n both innings of test,n his record in second innings is awesome...tendu n gangs hav a lot to prove....havnt lost hope! :)
 
Pakistan are still not safe in this test match. They should bat till lunch tomorrow.If the pitch has eased a quick 150 from sewag can tilt the game

your right pakistan still aint safe... we need to bat until or near lunch 2mro... make a score
of around or above 450... the new ball is now only 10 overs away.. again we got to try
getting pass that... 292 lead and 3 wickets down doing great yet... keep it up ...

off, Faisal Iqbal goes back and across and punches through cover
with superb timing and placement!
 
Shiva trying to claim he played a big shot because he heard the umpire call no-ball but I'm not so sure. Even if it's only Ganguly you don't have that much time to hear the umpire, register it in your mind and then change your shot.
 
Oooooh, risky shot from Yousuf. Tries hitting Kumble over mid-on but he doesn't get to the pitch of the ball but he escapes because Zaheer doesn't judge it properly. Lucky not to be out, terrible shot.
 
fortune favours the brave n yousaf gets away with that .......n with that ove takes zaheer abbas..as the 4th highest run scorer in tests for pak! well done!

yousaf seems to have gone into defensive mode now.....which is not gud news.....
 
i was there at that match when pakistan chased 315 .... wat a test match that was .. didnt know wat had happend when inzy came dancing down the track n healy missed a stumping all we knew that pakistan had won ..

its hard when he changes his pace....the ball to younis khan was alot slower...he missed it in the air otherwise younis khan always plays kumble dumble with ease!

was a slower one peeps thats why didnt bounce as muc................next ball smashedd 4444444444444444444 through the covers pure elegenceeeeeeeee
