Pakistan (169/1) thrash Australia (163) by 9 wickets in the second ODI to level the 3-match series 1-1

Saim not fluent but extremely frustrating for Australia.

They would have wanted him out early to have a crack at Pakistan’s middle order in the powerplay

This is not a one off. After 23 T20I's having a SR is 122 is just not good enough. Otherwise, we should just have Riz-Bar open. The point of Ayub is to put pressure on the bowlers. But he has shown he is just not good enough do that in the international arena yet.

I think he has potential. he has shown it in domestic cricket. But I personally think the time has come to let him go back to domestic and franchise cricket and work on his game.

I think they need to back him at this level.
He's newcomer who has walked into a very uncertain environment. He needs to be backed.

He's got serious potential. T20's is not the format you judge batsman on. He can stop playing T20 I don't care.

Saw his innings in champions cup recently. The way he was toying with bowlers after getting set I've seen only fakhar Zaman do that in recent times
 
Just an observation, I could be wrong but when Saim bats, his bat lift seems to come from way too high, which might be causing him to lose some time getting to the ball. This approach isn’t necessary for every shot. For example, on the ball he played at 7.5 overs and the one he hit for four afterward, I noticed a slight adjustment in his bat lift. Sometimes it feels like he does it more for style than for substance

More than runs these two are frustrating Aussie bowlers which should help with scoring later. Plenty of time.

Champions Cup is one thing. He has been solid in domestic, no doubt. He just looks really shaky in the international arena

Hazelwood is just an overrated bowler who must be afraid of Babar and co rather than Babar and company being afraid of the weakest bowler of that Aussie bowling attack as he often takes rest or doesn’t get selected in tough Asia tours.

Saim is one of the most talented young batters in Pakistan. His performances in international cricket so far do not do justice to his talent, or show the complete picture.
