Pakistan is set to face Zimbabwe in the third and final One-Day International of a three-match series. After losing the first encounter, Pakistan thrashed Zimbabwe in the 2nd ODI to level the series. Under the leadership of Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan recently achieved a remarkable ODI series victory against Australia on their home soil. However, the Men in Green will be without several senior players, including Babar Azam, as a younger squad has been chosen for the challenge against the Chevrons.
All eyes will be on Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique, who impressed with the bat during the Australia series. Skipper Rizwan will be pivotal in leading the side, supported by Kamran Ghulam, while Agha Salman and Irfan Khan Niazi are expected to strengthen the lower middle order.
On the Zimbabwean side, much will depend on Sikandar Raza, known for delivering standout performances in home conditions. Craig Ervine and Brian Bennett will be key figures in the batting lineup, while Sean Williams and Blessing Muzarabani pose significant threats with their experience and skill.
As the action unfolds at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, all eyes will be on how the pitch and conditions impact this intriguing contest.
