If only the rest of hte world could be run that way :D

well done shahid nazir, maybe if he becomes a bits and pieces player instead of a good seamer he may earn a place in the senior side.

so ur saying he cant concentrate on his batting and being a good seamer at the same time? :10:

Giles seems to be doing the same for England !

Seriously speaking, Mo Asif should have a better chance of making the team then Nazir on current performance ?

Pakistan A were 153 for three at lunch as chasing 245 for victory on the final day of England's latest warm-up match.

Opener Imran Farhat and nightwatchman Shahid Nazir hit Matthew Hoggard for 18 runs in two overs early on.

They Pakistan pair also punished Steve Harmison and Ashley Giles before Farhat retired hurt with a hand injury.

Nazir, who made 43 off 31 balls with three fours and two sixes, fell to a yorker from Andrew Flintoff who also had Faisal Athar caught and bowled.

But England's stand-in captain Marcus Trescothick had plenty of problems as Hasan Raza and Shahid Yousuf continued to plunder runs.

England also had another injury scare when Andrew Strauss had also left the field with apparent discomfort in a hamstring, but he returned soon afterwards.

One thing I have noticed on PP is that everybody seems to want to have a go at MIG.

What is it about MIG that makes him so...erm...desirable?(!)

I think its quite amusing.

If MIG and I were the same age, I would joke with him too. But alas, he's at least 50 years older than I....

WELL DONE RAZA BOY!!!!!!!! This guy has won my praises in the past couple of days. Really impressed me everytime he played at the domestic level, and now this talented performance.

Hope he goes on to bigger and better things.

Shahid Yousuf and H Raza have played the exact same number of deliveries, but the latter has almost double the runs.

Well done Hasan Raza.

This should finally shut up all the doubters who believe he is suspect against pace.

Maybe he WAS a bit suspect against pace when he first showed up at the international scene..but now he is just amazing.

Why did the england innings stop when they were only 9 down? Did they declare? because if they did, a victory for Pak A would be a slap in the face for them! :16:

I suppose, at this stage, England have given up hope of salvaging the match.

They'll probably put their part-timers on now, until the end of the game. No point risking your frontline bowlers for a lost cause.

Mabrook, Mabrook, to all the Pakistanis on a famous victory.

Inshallah, the senior team shall perform even better.

English arrogance takes another licking...

well looks like he came out to bat.

scored 37 not out!

Excellent result for the Pak A team. An even better result considering it wasnt our most powerful A team!!!! Really good to see the English get humilliated :) But the most satisfying is seeing Hasan Raza get a half century and the winning runs. With him coming at number 6 (well after all the performances so far) for Pakistan, we're starting to have a pretty decent batting lineup.

Farhat back?...well it seems no damage to his fingers then.

Good victory for Pakistan A. Even the saffie supporters around here are getting some pleasure out of this. Wonder what they'll do if (when?) Pakistan beats England....

Yeh well it is rather special that these guys have betten the all conquering England team. Remember, they are going to wipe the Pakistan team off the map by whitewashing them 3-0! Also its rather shameful losing to this team considering a few of the players in this A team shouldnt have been picked. Despite the fact they were carrying deadwood, they still beat there arses, quite comfortably. All in all a most satisfying win id say :)

Great display by Pakistan A's team and full credit to their batsmen and bowlers. I think Hassan Raza has given himself a great favor by scoring some valueable runs. I think he has put alot of pressure on Inzi and WB to bring him in the Pakistan's XI and i think Asim kamal's place is in serious doubt. It will be very hard for Inzi or BW not to bring Hassan Raza in the team. I think bowlers did really well especially Mohammad Asif. He bowled well. However, I think it will be very difficult for him to get a spot in the team and the same for Yasir Arafat. But it is good to know that Pakistan has good backup bowlers who can perform well.
