Patrons have a good batting line up with Arafat at no 8.Now is the time for our fringe player to step up and make 400+ to put pressure on eng attack minus Flintoff and Harmison.

Indeed. Here the Patrons have two batsmen with international experience and a lot will depend on how they do here. This is perfect for Asim to score some runs and get himself into some form.
 
As for Yasir he also has a lot to prove.

Samiullah plays for Faisalabad and why do we need anyone else when we have superman Mo Khalil?

The only positive coming out of this is that jimmy might get the nod for multan and that would be our gain.

Who do you drop? People keep name dropping players they want to see picked for the team without thinking about who should make way or the balance of the side.

Sometime I wonder if people realise that you can only have 11 players in a test side

My bad you know its early morning here in UK so got mixed up with Sialkot and Faiselabad and dont even mention Khal please.

I think we dont have a cert pick among our pacers for multan atleast we could ve picked one instead of Ash or Mush.

just seen highlights on sky sports. Most of the wickets were typical throw aways all batsmen loosely driving away from the body and been caught of half-volleys.

How far did Yasir reach for the ball that got him out?
 
why do you guys think that Eng dec at 256/9, is it because they wanted to use the new ball in the morning and get better results or they just thought its not worth getting more score on the board and wasting time?
 
Can some one tell how this pitch looks like ?

Yasir Hameed & Asim Kamal playing does that means they are not going to make the first test ? Asim & Yasir have been both out form lately.
 
how old is shahzad malik and is this the same player who many have called the future middle order batsman for pakistan?
