Pakistan and India confirm ceasefire ‘with immediate effect’

Indians and their desperation to save their humiliated faces.

Indian bhakts are as confused as their clown Hindutva aatanki leader Godi who was beating his chest about attacking Pakistan and then when India got showed its aukaat in a battlefield, he went quickly running to Trump and was posting about Buddhism and peace and no-war, within a few days jazbaat, haalaat, 54 inch chest etc etc sab badal giya :)

That clown Godi statement should be framed at all the houses in Pakistan, "Pakistan nay hum par he hamla kar diyaa..." I can't get enough of that humiliated statement lol

Global participants in webinar expose India's hegemonic ambitions

Pakistan asked for an international impartial investigation after the Pahalgam incident, which means Pakistan has no role in the terrorist attacks.

Ambassador Yuba Nath Lamsal (Nepal) highlighted while talking at the webinar on India-Pakistan conflict and neighboring countries, organised by the Asian Institute of Eco-civilization Research and Development.

Further, he added that India had a tendency to blame and provoke Pakistan and try to engage Pakistan in conflict, which is a bad policy choice.

Yasiru Ranaraja, founding director of BRISL, began by narrating the story of Pakistan’s assistance to Sri Lanka in combating and controlling terrorism.

He highlighted that President Musharraf came forward to help Sri Lanka at the critical moment. He concluded his remarks by urging all parties to show patience and work for sustainable peace and development in the region.

Mr Mahabub Alam Shah, Senior Vice-President, Bangladesh Nationalist Party, Overseas Wing, shared that Bangladesh was the first country to show resilience and push against the Indian hegemonic influence in the region.

He also informed the participants that Bangladesh proposed the establishment of SAARC to enhance regional cooperation and sustain peace. Unfortunately, due to the current Indian attitude, SAARC is presently stalled, which is hurting the region.

India burying it's head in the sand

The social media accounts of some Chinese state media were blocked inside India on Wednesday, after Indian officials accused the outlets of spreading Pakistani propaganda and misinformation. The move came as India protested over Beijing’s decision to rename some locations in a disputed border territory.

The X accounts of China’s official state news agency Xinhua, and a state-backed nationalistic tabloid, the Global Times, were inaccessible inside India on Wednesday. Turkey’s TRTWorld was also blocked. Both China and Turkey are allies of Pakistan, with China providing the bulk of its weapons purchases. On Thursday, the Global Times account was restored, reportedly after a legal request.

India has targeted thousands of social media accounts in the last week, including a number of reputable media outlets and reporters, sparking criticism from press freedom groups. It’s not known if the blocking of the Global Times, Xinhua, and TRT are part of the same crackdown. X, formerly Twitter, is banned inside China.

India and Pakistan have given very different accounts of last week’s military clashes, in what was the worst violence between the two nuclear-armed nations in decades. Unverified reporting and propaganda has been rife throughout social and traditional media from both sides during the short conflict.

Last week, the Indian embassy in China accused the Global Times of “pushing out … disinformation” after it carried a report claiming Pakistan had shot down an Indian warplane. India’s ministry of information and broadcasting has been contacted for comment.

After hostilities escalated between India and Pakistan, China urged restraint from both sides, however it has been seen as more supportive of Pakistan, particularly in its provisions of weaponry, including fighter jets that were reportedly involved in the shooting down of Indian warplanes – an event celebrated by Chinese media.

On Sunday, China’s government announced a new batch of “standardised” placenames for what it says are Chinese locations in the north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh – which China calls Zangnan.

The release prompted a rebuke from India, which called it “vain and preposterous”.

“Creative naming will not alter the undeniable reality that Arunachal Pradesh was, is, and will always remain an integral and inalienable part of India,” India’s foreign ministry spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, said on Wednesday.

Later that day a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson, Lin Jian, said the region was Chinese territory and the naming was “within China’s sovereign rights”.

India and China, the world’s two most populous nations, have had a fractious relationship, with occasional military clashes of their own along a 3,800km stretch of disputed border in the Himalayas. A deadly fight between opposing soldiers in 2020 saw 20 Indian soldiers and at least four Chinese soldiers killed.

Pakistan-India ceasefire extended until May 18, says FM Dar

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Thursday said that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan was extended until May 18, adding that the matter will “ultimately go to dialogue” between the civilian leadership of the two nations.

The military confrontation between India and Pakistan came as the former blamed Islamabad for the Pahalgam attack. On the night of May 6-7, New Delhi launched a series of air strikes on Pakistan, resulting in civilian casualties. Both sides then exchanged missiles, which stretched over the week. It took American intervention for both sides to finally drop their guns.

On Monday, the director general of military operations for both sides held the first round of talks via hotline after the ceasefire.

Speaking in the Senate today, FM Dar said that a military-to-military conversation took place between the two countries today, where they decided to extend the ceasefire until May 18.

“Ultimately, the matter will go to dialogue between the civilian leadership of the countries,” FM Dar said. “Right now, these are military-to-military communications.”

He said that a political dialogue would take place between the two countries and that a “resolution for all the problems will be discussed”.

“We have told the world that we will carry out a composite dialogue,” Dar said.

A day prior, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif invited India to a comprehensive dialogue to address all contentious issues, including the Kashmir dispute and the water distribution, between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.

According to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), Dar said that Pakistan did not request a ceasefire during the recent escalation with India.

Instead, it [ceasefire] was initiated following a call from the US Secretary of State, who conveyed that India was willing to halt hostilities, Dar said.

Dar emphasised that Pakistan had exercised restraint and communicated this to all friendly nations even before the outbreak of hostilities.

“We told our friends we would not initiate an attack, but we would certainly respond if provoked,” he said, adding that Pakistan’s response was measured, decisive, and in line with international norms.

Anyone see the video of the soldiers firing shells and swearing at Modis mum and sister :ROFLMAO:

They are saying there is still a few minutes left till the ceasefire let's keep firing and keep the heat on.

There is absolutely no chance Pakistan asked for a ceasefire. These lads were ready to take Delhi.

The New York times report is saying that the Indians inflicted 20-25% more damage to Pakistani territory than the other way around. The Pakistani missile onslaught was ineffective and did no damage. It should be alarming for the Pakistani authorities that the Indians were able to launch attacks on Pakistani air bases so easily and Pakistan's defense was weak. Had the Indian's kept this up for another 1-2 days, Pakistan would have been in serious trouble especially considering how dependent the country is on its Air Force.

However, in the overall scheme of things, war wongering on both sides aside, neither side really inflicted pulverizing damage.

Modi has come off weak for bowing down to Trump's pressure to de-escalate

Those decisions are taken by siyasat daars not soldiers. Of course both sides would want to fight along at that level.

Pakistan didn't use Shaheens or Ababeel. Pakistan would have used those if it felt the conflict was going to escalate further.

Satellite imagery confirms the damage caused on Pakistan.

Meanwhile Pakistanis just making claims, Oh we got an S400, Oh we took out 5 aircrafts. So far the only credible source for the planes going down is IAF themselves admitting it, along with some random edited videos and edited photos on social media 🤡

P.S. I am off the opinion India may have lost 1 or 2 Rafale's basing on IAF's reaction, however it could also be a clever ploy by the Indian government to use against the French to bring the prices down for India's next purchase of jets from Dassault....

China was the reason why India had so much success, that junk Chinese missile shield did their bit; did absolutely nothing to the incoming Indian missiles and drones.

Thank you China.

India/China Bhai Bhai

Americans not denying the Nuke facilities were hit itself should be very alarming for the entire region......

Pakistan didn't use Shaheens or Ababeel. Pakistan would have used those if it felt the conflict was going to escalate further.

It has to be taken into account that Indians were aggressively posturing and attacking Pakistan in bursts for 3 days. Pakistan only responded with its missile attacks once.

Still hoping our armed forces learns their lessons as now India, Israel know full well they will need to neutralize our air force before thinking of launching an aggressive assault next time.

I repeat once again. Why did Modi back off if India had such an upper hand? I guarantee you if he had Pakistan by the knees he would not have? Why was the body language of the Pakistani millitary officers during the press conferences superior to their Indian counterparts?

Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan on Friday urged India to maintain the ceasefire agreed with Pakistan, warning that the country would respond if the neighbour resumed aggression

The nation observed Youm-i-Tashakur across the country today to honour the armed forces and the people for the victory in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos — a part of Marka-i-Haq — against India.

During his weekly press conference today, the spokesperson said: “The recent announcement of a Pakistan-India ceasefire is a positive development. We urge India to faithfully adhere to its implementation.”

He said Pakistan appreciated the role of friendly countries in facilitating the ceasefire and reiterated support for US President Donald Trump’s announcement on engaging with Pakistan and India to seek a resolution to the Kashmir dispute.

The spokesperson said the ceasefire was achieved by the role of several countries. “India’s portrayal of Pakistan as acting out of despair and frustration of Pakistan is baseless,” he added.

He informed that the military operations chiefs of both countries had maintained periodic contact since May 10 and both had agreed on a “structured mechanism for phased de-escalation”.

The spokesperson said that Pakistan had also returned a constable of the Indian Border Security Force on Wednesday as a gesture of “goodwill” in return for a sepoy of the Pakistan Rangers.

He said that at a time when the internal community was promoting regional peace and stability, “India’s rhetoric reflects a persistent tendency to distort facts, justify aggression and cast unwarranted aspersions on Pakistan’s nuclear assets.”

In contrast, the spokesperson said that “Pakistan is a responsible state and remains committed to the ceasefire and taking necessary steps towards de-escalation and regional stability.”

He requested Pakistan’s international partners to ensure India honoured its commitments and refrained from further aggression due to its “belligerent posture”. “Should India resume hostilities, Pakistan will have no choice but to respond,” he warned.

The spokesperson said Pakistan always believed in dialogue and the restoration of peace and wanted a solution to all issues, including occupied Kashmir, through negotiations.

FM Dar appreciates UK role in de-escalation
Separately, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy and discussed regional developments, including the ceasefire.

Dar appreciated the UK’s constructive role in de-escalation.

The two also reviewed bilateral ties and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening relations and enhancing economic and trade cooperation.

You think Indians have the mental capacity to even think about this?

They got strong-armed into a ceasefire, despite their foreign policy stating they don't accept third party mediations. Complete u-turn, and now celebrating a ceasefire as a 'win'.

:shappy

Americans officially entered the war when Pakistan's nuclear facilities were hit, that was the red line. I would say Americans would have pressured and also may have offered a few favourable conditions for the Indians in the terms of tariffs etc to stop the escalation immediately to which the Indians agreed..

Pakistan's officers body language has always been the same in front of their media and the world: we won we won lol, they would never admit they were on the backfoot, imagine telling the Pakistani public that you are losing while there is also the whole Imran Khan issue boiling in the background, this would have been disasterous. Pakistani military would have no justicifaction to be in control of Pakistan in front of their public who they sell the Boogey man India narrative to if they admitted the truth......

Indians for their bit showed they are honest in front of the world for admitting they lost their jets whilst putting up satellite images of the damages they did to Pakistan, while Pakistan's evidence is: check social media bro 🙄

Trillions in foreign reserves (allegedly) yet India brings out the begging bowl for mercy.

Story of the common Indian life.

PM assigns Bilawal to lead peace delegation highlighting Indian aggression abroad

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to lead a high-level delegation tasked with presenting 'Pakistan’s case for peace' on recent Indian aggression to the international community.

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto, who also served as foreign minister in the previous government, has accepted the Prime Minister’s offer to lead the delegation.

In a post on social media platform X, Bilawal Bhutto wrote, “I was contacted earlier today by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who requested that I lead a delegation to present Pakistan’s case for peace on the international stage. I am honoured to accept this responsibility and remain committed to serving Pakistan in these challenging times.”

According to Express News, the committee will engage with global leaders and institutions to raise awareness about India’s actions and Pakistan’s concerns regarding the Indus Waters Treaty.

The delegation, led by Bilawal Bhutto, will include Khurram Dastgir, Hina Rabbani Khar, and Jalil Abbas Jilani, who will travel to various countries to highlight Pakistan’s position on Indian hostilities.

Sources indicate that Bilawal is expected to begin a European tour soon, where he will meet with foreign dignitaries to brief them on India’s actions and Pakistan’s diplomatic perspective.

The government has also planned to send additional delegations to other countries as part of a broader diplomatic outreach.

Pakistan-India Ceasefire

The latest escalation between Pakistan and India began on April 22, when an attack in Pahalgam killed 26 people. India immediately blamed Pakistan for the incident. However, Pakistan categorically rejected the Indian blame.

More like Pakistan launched Spike Dudley against Edge , but that has the @Bhaijaan jumping in joy

Interesting point.
But it’s been reported now that majority of our air defense was done by Akash missile systems and S-400 was deployed in limited capacity.

Also, we have invested heavily in mobile launch systems for SAMs given our doctrine of disproportionate second strike.

If BrahMosn. wasnt used to take out your airbases, the war would have continued for more days or weeks.

Remember Jaishankar has already revealed they told your army to stay out of it. Our first targets were terror bases. Once your army responded with drones and short range missiles we had to give a befitting and impactful response and hence the BrahMos.

Bharat has one of the most advanced and high tech missile systems in the world. It is entirely set up on the doctrine of second strike capability. Even in case of a nuclear attack, we are capable to strike back disproportionately. Our biggest weapon is in the seas anyway and it’s roaming virtually undetected.

So today is ceasefire date ending , maybe they will increase it further before ending. :kp

Yes. That's how democracies should work.
Its not quite working like that in India is it?....

Mass censorship of home and International media. Free hand given to pliant fake news media which relentlessly radicalises the masses against Pakistan and Islam.

I know people in India who have stopped watching TV altogether.

Hahaha .bro anyone can see the P-8I surveillance aircraft even from Flight radar .

P-8I was watching whole Pakistan Navy during that periods .

Pakistan Navy is nowhere close to Indian Navy.

They don't need to be "close" they just need to do enough and they have done this. The CM400's that took out the S400 also have sea versions. The last thing your sarkar needs is a bunch of hypersonics heading towards your white elephant the aircraft carrier. It also carries Mig29's which will all get shot down and your navy will be completely exposed to air launched anti ship missiles.and they know this hence kept their distance..

Nuclear facilities were hit.

You have no credibility after blocking and controlling the media, spreading propaganda.

Who in India has accepted their jets were shot down?

The same IAF told you that no nuclear sites were hit, do you selectively choose what to hear?

The IAF spokesman did deny it with a grin on his face when the journalist asked the question. Ofcourse he won't openly admit it as it is a nuclear site but his facial expression gave it away... Americans one minute saying it's none of our business to next minute immediately getting involved was another sign..

Either way Boyka, India has been Michael Jai whitd, Pakistan won the war on PP hands down so no need to get insecure..

Trump has lost alot of respect in India after disclosing India came running to him for ceasefire

The entire nation is celebrating a ceasefire, in a war they were apparently 'dominating'.

Let that entire sentence sink in, and you might lose even respect for whatever braincells these people have left.

Trump is getting roasted on their social media handles, since he is straight up telling people the US was the only one that made ceasefire possible. Now these chums are stuck thinking whether Modi obediently accepted US' demands and signed off on de-escalation immediately :yk

SU 30 wreckage, more clips keep coming out to show how India has been humiliated in this war. The confidence PAF showed making the claim of 6-nil keeps getting proven day by day. This wreckage is a completely different site with all the jets parts seem to be there, now wait to see how Indian will make a claim this it is a drone or just a fuel tank lol, but atleast Indian solider is seen saying "Indian phiitaar jet" in this clip.

All the loud mouth of Indians have been thoroughly humiliated, something that they will remeber for generations. Losing 6 jets in a few minutes, if news of PAF had 15 jets locked are true then I wish they had destroyed all 15 instead of just 6, although even 6 is absolute huge embarassment for Indians. These incompetent cowards aren't capable of fightining a war, running to International bodies to beg for a cease fire tells you how deeply and quickly they got hurt

It’s just funny watching Indians tie themselves in knots figuring out a narrative when it’s clear as day because everyone followed it day by day.
