What's new

Pakistan battle to stay in the contest, reaching 94/4 with a 23-run lead on Day 3 of the second Test against South Africa

As I said before it was wrong decision to remove Nomi bhai so quickly. Pathetic captain he is no doubt

haha "no-man's land" good pun from cricinfo

Wonder if Rizwan is going to be an agent from now on, underplaying to undermine other captains.

Won't put it past him.

I had already said Sajid is a liability in the first test itself. Anyway, conceding 100+ runs for last 3 wickets says a lot about the mental fragility of the bowlers, fielders and the captain.

Sajid was underbowled big time. It affects a bowlers confidence.

We had enough chances to wrap this up.

Pathetic fielding effort has costed us here.

I remember that 2-0 away win vs Sri Lanka. Even though we batted really well that series it was the razor sharp fielding effort which made 2-0 possible.

Total contrast here. 1-1 would be such a disappointing result.

SA for me is in drivers seat now.

We all know Pak cross generational vulnerability to left arm spin in second inns.

Will not be surprised if a 160 all out loading

Rabada is driving on the up and lofting Shaheen with ease. Pitch can't be that bsf currently. Must have flattened out.

Remember in day 1 and 2 when our batsmen were throwing it away some of us were saying its ok, we will bowl South Africa out, they can't play on these pitches?

You cannot ever take your foot off the gas in a test match, a good side will come back and make you regret it.

Rabada also won SA the first test in SA vs Pak. Pak thought they would finally win in SENA after so long but Rabada said No.

Rabada is fired up

He’s going to bowl a proper first spell when he comes out!
