Will Zimbabwe chase it or Pak bowlers are too good for their batsmen?

Oh okay so a C team of Zimbabwe are a criteria for measurement.

How will they handle the WC bowling combo of Amir and Usman?
 
Imam’s century was not THAT slow for the first 100 balls.

It is after that he showcased his mediocre abilities to accelerate.

Not an ODI opener (as of now).

I am not watching the match but when I see someone with 2/10 and another with 0/19 I am pretty sure the guy with 2 wickets should be the least one to pick on.

Shinwari has always produced the goods. I hope him and Shaheen end Junaid's international career.

Amir, Hasan, Shinwari, Shaheen and Raees should be our specialist fast bowlers. There is no room for Junaid's half-trackers with zero movement.

In the above 2 statements you are clearly referring to THIS Zimbabwe team, which is their C team.

That's what I asked you like, how can u consider the performance of the C team of Zimbabwe a criteria for measurement.

How sad that you have to resort to completely twisting what I said.

I said you should wait before both teams play on it before judging. It was obvious even when we were playing this is not a completely flat track, but the ball is stopping quite a bit, as we saw in the Zimbabwe wickets, and the soft wickets we lost of Babar and Fakhar as well. Now if you're done trying to manipulate what I said....

Yes, definitely. Junaid's time is gone, I don't rate Raees, but even he has more variation and is better than Junaid and Wahab.

He can't swing the ball.He has limited skills and pace is not good either. Shaheen would have been perfect instead of him.

I still think we need an out and out pacer in the attack. Someone who can rough the batsman up with some short stuff.

Wahab would've been useful here.

I can see a lot of criticisms of Usman.

nope they are not trundlers.Trundlers don't have any skills.They are like Indian bowlers.As far as amir's pace is concerned he was bowling 145ks consistently in the tour of Australia.

How else can we spend our time crying about how we got only 300 and how it's a fluke because Asif Ali scored quickly (Never mind that's what he's there to do), how Shinwari is poor because he picked up 2 wickets, and how India and England would have scored 70000 runs in 50 overs?

Didn't we lose a game when Misbah or Azhar were captain and barely scrape the tests and ODI series?
 
Now I believe Shaheen could have played these ODIs but problem is instead of who... there is also Rumman Raees waiting for the come back

Wahab riaz was highest wicket taker for Pakistan in world cup 2015 and picked up a 5fer in all important semi final and was pick up of the bowlers in 2013 champions trophy. He is definitely much better than this trundler. He will perform well if given a chance in future.

It was due to poor combination of players which we have had from 2014-15 time

Playing this series is not bad, rather good. But the problem is the team which u are fielding today.

This series u should have played Sahibzada, Shaheen, Junaid and Talat(he looks more like an odi bat, than t20i), dropped Hafeez and rested Malik, Amir and Hassan. This series is a blessing if u use it to test the bench strength but a curse if u play ur first choice 11.
 
Last time I watched Shinwari’s pace on speed gun was more than 140 kph and touching 145. I dont know what trunder is everyone talking about

That was a dark period of Pakistan cricket. Where Misbah's tuk tuk would guide us to max 250 and then his fans would have us believe that without Misbah we would struggle to get to 150.

He's hardly giveb any performances in 8 years. Lol how many chances do you to give him. Shaheen is miles better then him already and Usman is definitely an upgrade over him too.

Shinwari easily clocks 140+, I have even seen him touch 148 I believe. Those calling him trundler don't know what they are talking about.

Misbah was on a mission to destroy our cricket and did his level best. He is still playing believe or not. Some of his deluded fans think he should be still playing and some are saying islu won PSL because of him lol.

It's funny how Misbah's fans used to hail his drawn test series in England as some spectacular achievement, but then Sarfaraz managed to do the same with an inferior side :sarf2

His ghost still lingers whether it's in Azhar, Shehzad or in today's case Imam. The quicker they get rid of this the better.

Sahibzada, Shaheen, Hussain Talat dont look in picture for world cup 2019. For Shaheen there is still chance but competition is just too much.

Asif Ali has been brought in at just the right time, he was the only missing cog in our team. We dont have anyone like him in the backup as well.

It looks like Imam and Fakhar are gonna be our openers in WC 19.

I know. I am not a fan of sarfraz but one thing for sure he plays with passion and plays for the country unlike misbah who was turning our players into well behaved school kids eg Shafiq ,Azhar etc.

Yes he has crazy away swinger from righties but he does bring the ball back in if you see the todays spell itself

He has performed good in test matches and all important odis and he is fastest in Asia.I don't know how shaheen is already better than him.

Hopefully we have seen the last of shehzad and Azhar in our Limited internationals. Shehzad will hopefully be banned for 5 years so we never see him again.

I remember there was a time when Pakistan would step onto the field against sides like Aus, Eng, NZ, Ind and SA with the aim of getting respectable defeat or enforcing upset victory.

He ended up being the top wicket taker for Pak, but that was due to people trying to slog him in the death overs and getting out. As an opening bowler he was consistently being smashed about and going at 9 rpo releasing all pressure Amir might have built up at the other end.


He is a good T20 bowler and hard to get away in the death overs of ODIs, but nothing much apart from that.

By looking at his skills which wahab lacks. If you think wahab has better skills then Shaheen then I think you might be wahab posting here.

Exactly. And Azhar wasn't good enough for misbahs team but then suddenly good enough to captian us. We might see misbah play PSL again this shameless person won't leave until being kicked out which I am sure is around the corner.
