Haris’s test career is toast
Shan looks a diff player, has he been scoring heavily in domestics? Like with Amir it’s good to see to the improvement..
If he lacks fitness then possibly but along with Babar he is technically one of the two best players of pace. His 40-60 run innings could be crucial in low to mid scoring affairs.
If i have a choice i will drop Shafiq and put Fakhar at # 6.
Have seen enough of Asad and he has disappointed 90% of the time.
I'm still mulling it over but that may well be the way to go.
Also lol at people suggesting Haris should be dropped. If he is fit he will play the second test insha'Allah.
Realistically then they should play the same team or have Fakhar bat at 5/6 once Shafiq is dropped.
Shaani looks so fit and his posture is quite good
51 lead . Can we get 170 more
Not a lot of chat from the commentary team. Two solid overs from Rabada
I have always maintained (without any particular insight) that he will have a stop start career due to his knee issues. Sooner or later Pakistan will move on from him.
I don’t know if that’s enough given this pitch is playing is easy
wow, what a shot!wow, what a ball!
That cover drive !! Chaachu ki izzat rakh li

His technique is abysmal in these conditions
Exactly, looks very professsional
Never underestimate our propensity to batting collapses. Still effectively 58-1.
Need to continue showing this application and discipline.

Calm your horses lads, still a long way to go.
Imaam is technically batting for the 3rd time here, his lack of consistency and the fact he gets out the same 2 ways every time makes me wonder if he'll ever be successful once teams work him out. (Lbw after he plays across his pad and his lovely edge to second slips)
Shaan has always had a good technique. He can't play swing. The fact he's doing well is because the ball isn't swinging. Don't open with him if you want him to score anything.
Yep, hopefully Mickey is drilling into their heads: "do not get complacent".

Bro I think talk should be regarding cricket not the players relationships. Just my opinion.

You need to realise that Imam’s learning the game at international level when really he needs a couple of seasons in domestic to iron out his weakness. It’ll be frustrating to watch because it’ll take him time to be consistent but what he has shown in his short career is that he has mental toughness to have some success.
I missed that shot![]()
Just checked the scorecard. It says this is Imam's second innings so, no, "technically" he isn't batting for a third time.
