Faf is an excellent reader of the game - he tightened screw first, then brought Rabada against Babar. I am sure it would have been a short one, may be 3 overs, but now the job done, he might get few more.

But that would have been an undue bonus - reality is PAK's middle order blew a situation of 58/1 with 2 set batsman at crease against 30 overs old Kookaburra and one of the set batsman is still holding from one end. You can't solve this problem by picking couple of bits & pieces all-rounders.

Except my point remains: at least 4 of the Top Seven always fail, so you need the lower-middle order to make enough runs to set a target.

Sarfraz worries me: we are now in Mike Denness territory where the horrible decision to drop the skipper needs to be taken.

Most of the recent failiures are bcz of poor captaincy and lack of performance from the captain and seniors.
