Azhar does not warrant a drop. Shafiq probably and Sarfaraz maybe.
sarfraz should leave test cricket with immediate effect if he has any shame left. And take Asad with him
Agreed, hatred for so call seniors went to Azhar as well.
160-170 will keep Pakistan in the game.

When Sarfraz scored his 90-odd in the UAE last month he set a Test world record for playing a shot at the most consecutive deliveries.
I wrote at the time that that makes him an accident waiting to happen in South Africa.
He just isn’t selectable with his batting in this state.
But worse still, we have seen as I also warned that Yasir Shah is also a liability as a bowler in South Africa. And that Hasan Ali is so short that he bleeds runs.
Which should have led to a return to Shadab at 7 and Faheem at 8. How much better Pakistan would look right now!
But that requires Sarfraz to bat at 6, whereas currently he should be down at 9 or 10.

Except my point remains: at least 4 of the Top Seven always fail, so you need the lower-middle order to make enough runs to set a target.
Sarfraz worries me: we are now in Mike Denness territory where the horrible decision to drop the skipper needs to be taken.
I wondered whether this series would finish FAF’s career, but I feared for the wrong captain.....
Why is Amir batting at #8? He is not an all-rounder in any sense of imagination.
Hasan Ali is better and should bat higher.
Sarfraz is safe - going by PP reaction from Bhakht (it's a South Asian term - gross translation is fanatics), I am sure PCB won't touch him for the fear of Karachi dominated media back lash. What might happen is he'll get "injured", so that PCB doesn't need to sack him before WC.
Mike Denness dropped himself out of 5th Test, then came back on 6th one to score 188 (though ab sense of DK/Thommo helped), and ENG won by innings, very next Test, another 180+ and another innings win ......... don't see that happening for Sarfraz to be honest.
And, don't see the other part as well ........... Denness stepped down after returning home - that's personal pride of a professional sports man, you don't expect that from everyone.
Gone Yasir first ball
Shan to be blamed for exposing the tail)
8 down.
Why masood has to take a single? Defies common sense.
