Pakistan end Day 2 of the 1st Test at 21/0, still trail England (354) by 29 runs

Just one run out given by England in whole session. Pakistan failed to create chances.
 
Go out with a so called all rounder , a debutant quick a washed up spinner and spinner playing only his third match and you shouldnt expect better.

If you have chosen faheem then stick to your choice and give him the ball.

Pakistan will stick with babar as we have no choice but the coaching staff needs to go especially the head coach.

Imagine this Pakistan side against Australia @ the pitch being used for the recent game, mayhem havoc catastrophe
 
Pak have really dropped to minnow levels. Never thought they would allow a team like England to come to their home turn and first, embarrass them in the T20s with a B team and now on course for a whitewash in the tests

The way he is playing has nothing to do with who he is facing.

He has everything in his locker - talent, technique, temperament, power, composure. He effortlessly switches from Bazball mode to traditional Test mode.

He is basically Pietersen + Root combined into one player. He is going to dominate all formats of the game for years to come.

That “team like England” has in the past six months beaten India, blanked the test champions NZ three-nil and beat SA too. Usually by big margins.

At home in English conditions. This pak attacks is the weakest its been. Its a comical attack. Teams like bangla and Afghanistanplaykng at home, would have a posed far more problems for England with their attacks
 
Want to see Brook v Rabada, Nortje, Cummings, Starc as well as India spinners before making a judgement
 
Rehan goes immediately....he may wear the English uniform but temperament definitely that of a Pakistani
 
Brook Duckett and Pope have been good.
Root Stokes and Crawley bar one knock have been avg this series.

England should win 3-0. They have been mediocre last 3 innings but Pak are worse. Expect another poor batting performance in the 2nd innings
 
Said it that this Bazball drama would not work in the subcontinent, especially on rank turners in India and Bangladesh. Pakistan made a huge mistake giving England a flat pitch in Pindi where Bazball will murder you.

Give this England team a green pitch or a rank turner and this Bazball drama will fall to pieces. These guys will get a beating of a lifetime in India on a rank turner with Jadeja eating then alive.

For all of their positive intent, England have not managed to score 300 in both their innings last test. It's shame on Pakistan's part that they lost to an English team at home that can't even make 300 on helpful pitches. In fact England also should be ashamed of themselves for not getting 300 easily against a club level bowling lineup.

As far as Brook goes, called him a generational talent here simply because saw him in a county game where he demolished the opposition just by playing proper cricketing shots. Glad to see him justifying his talent.
 
Just the fear of a whitewash is enough for Pakistan to crumble and be defeated here.

Faheem has performed with the bat in much much troubling conditions like in New Zealand and England...I think it is the muddled thinking from the leadership who probably told him to block and conserve his wicket rather than playing his natural game....and now not even given a bowl...
 
Could have down with another hour of Brük there.

Foakes once again showing that he should always play in tests.
 
A lead of 30-40 will be psychologically very difficult for Pakistan as well

England can easily knock off 2 Pakistani wickets before they start setting the final innings total
 
What is the purpose of Faheem ashrafs existence in the team. Virtually playing just 3 bowlers.

Babar and saqlain are just next level stupid
 
We had 5 bowlers prior to this series, then we went into this with 4, and now we've basically a 3 man attack.

Are we gonna have one guy bowl from both ends vs NZL ?
 
There has to be a reason why Faheem not bowling, he is ecnomical and can reverse a bit. Iffir nithing else will give rest to the two spinners a bit of rest.

Lol, Wood keeps making more runs than our 'allrounders'. Getting very irritating this.
 
I know he is a bad captain but the team is awful..our batters are garbage..if they dont learn from Woods batting then God help us. why hasnt faheem bowled
