Batting at 30 SR is pathetic for a full time batsman. It's minnow-esque.

True. West Indies did the smae thing. They were 159/2 in 59 overs. later 245/4 and imploded to 286 all out. Chasing 498 they were 116/0 in the 2nd dig bowled out for 333. It is easy to score runs in Australia. So many tailenders have done well here. But problem is Australia will find a way to break through.

Match is about even right now, but winning for Pakistan looks hard right now. The entire match hinges on tomorrow. If we can bat out the day at 3.5 - 4.0 RPO then we will be in the drivers seat.

The match isn't even right now; it's still heavily in Australia's favour. They have the runs on the board and one of the best attacks in cricket. Pak needs to try to bat the whole day tomorrow to have any chance of saving this test.

Pakistan batsmen aren't that much higher grade than minnow if you are honest. You could describe them as intermediate I would guess, certainly not at the level of the top level teams. If you look at it from that perspective they have done well enough to stay in the game so far.

You can't score at 60-70 strike rate against this attack on this pitch especially when they are all fresh.

You'll get bowled out for a sub 200 score.

What chance do they stand if they try to play an attacking brand on pitches that are the polar opposites they play on at home.

You have to blunt the ball for long periods of time. Look at what Hanuma Vihari did while opening in Australia in 2018 and Pujara dod on 2 tours.

This is a marathon not a sprint. The OZ attacks next spell with the new ball will be less threatening than the previous one and it will keep declining in threat provided PAK have the patience to keep them at it.

Going gung ho in a match you CANNOT win considering the match situation and your current set of players can easily backfire.

They won't play mir hamza because he is a threat to afridi and father in law.

Mir hamza will only get a chance on flat dead wickets like in karachi he has been a stalwart performer in domestic cricket played country cricket he deserved a go on this pitch he bowls a consistent line length is near 6ft tall and can swing the new ball.

Him and khurram would have done good shaheen was releasing all the pressure at the start .

Until shaheen goes back to fc cricket and puts in some hard yards he should be reserved for white ball cricket atm .

Aamer Jamal has ordinary figures in FC cricket. Must have worked very hard I believe. Needs to be a consistent performer before being considered seriously. To Pak fans, let's not hype him as new Waqar or like that. There are many such bowlers in Pakistani domestic like him even with far better record.
