Pakistan reach 17/2 at Stumps on Day 1 and trail South Africa by 245 runs in the 3rd Test

Pakistan should really go to town on the captains report to the Icc post series on Joel Wilson

Did Bangladesh manage to all out South Africa at least once across all innings last time you toured?

The problem is new ball, which is a shame. Since return, Hasan’s figure is 2-2-0-1
 
Pak bowlers again have made Pak come back but their batsmen will let this advantage go again

It has always been his role. Only you just realized it late.

They are all waiting for the ball to rough up!!! No other explanation of fast bowlers bowling 2-3 yards faster in 3rd spell after tea.

Partly, but having four quicks plus Shadab has kept the quicks quicker and sharper.

It's a huge shame especially sense Hassan was getting the most swing despite coming on first change. Despite all the hut me balls he was the one who cut Markram in half with an indipper and got the most 'oohs' and 'aahs'.

The problem is simply control. The softer and reversing ball is just a lot easier to control.

Your Pakistani logic couldn’t differentiate between bowling better and bowling faster in 3rd spell, which isn’t surprising. And your last line is exactly what has brought PAK cricket to this state - arrogance is your national problem.

Most bowlers would be down and out after such pasting but hasan has come back in style. Signature of a champion.

No matter what - you can’t explain pacers at 130km in first spell and 140k in 3rd after 60 overs of fielding at this altitude. I know you are a doctor - and J’burg is at least at 2km altitude.

I don’t want to feed trolls but don’t come back with such explanation- go and watch the 2 Asia cup games against Indian openers to enjoy phast bowling.
 
The question is ,how Pak batsmen reacts.

Sarfraz selfishly and stupily blamed his bowlers after 2nd test. But we all know that if Pak bowlers bowled that poor as did their batsmen performed in such a poor way, Pak would have lost by innings margin in both tests. It is always Pak batting which have let them down again and again and their captaaan is leading from the front
 
For the last 31 years since the victory in Guyana, every time Pakistan is struggling at Tea with the opposition 220-4, I always wait for Imran Khan to take 7-80 to reduce them to 280 all out.

Today is about as close as it gets!

Some people are right to an extent because we do lack consistency a lot but brilliant come back.

We will definitely become more consistent side with some management changes.

He was bowling well actually throughout this series. Just added extra effort in this spell looking at the reverse. I think, with new ball he tries to control damage for everyone.

Ok, here is how it happens - when bowlers are in rhythm, they bowl faster and look sharper. That is what happened now with Amir and Abbas. Yes, reverse swing helped but you need good bowlers to generate that. Ask Mustafizur or some other I don't know bowler to do it, they can't. Thank you. They can spin the bowl though :ma
 
Azhar and Asad need to show perform or get out of the team forever

Why are you bringing Asia cup to test match? I'm not trolling anyway. I'm watching some fearsome fast bowling which we're really good at.
 
No reverse for Faheem. Amir injury is really annoying. I hope it's nothing serious and he can be back in the next innings

Sarfraz was correct we did not bowl that well to allow SA to score 400 runs. Pak batting is well known and did not need to be emphasized, but on rare occasion Pak bowing also let us down in that match.

couldn't agree more.
 
Bowl them out for under 300 and score 400-450 to win this match. Batting won't be easy on a bouncy wicket but good come back from the bowlers particularly from Hasan Ali because he needed that after being mauled in his first dozen or so overs.
