What's new

Pakistan reach 17/2 at Stumps on Day 1 and trail South Africa by 245 runs in the 3rd Test

Faheem bowls inswingers generally. Should be given the ball.

Good start by SA.

RR nudging by 4 now.

You get the feeling Markram is set for a big one here.

Like a 130 minimum.

Same old story!!! 1 quick wicket then let opposition to build score. SA will win this on by big margin.

I think Shaheen should have been there with the other 3 for the full strength.

Hassan was quick this over but too short.

Last ball finally on the right length.

Hasan looks more threatening. Inward movement at good pace.

Interesting stat: Among regular non-part time spinners, Kumble has the best record at this ground - 17 wickets at 16.

Lol shadab and Faheem Shown as all rounder in line up
Sohail Tanvir must be proud

Our bowling attack is only better than Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

Hasans last over is proper vindication of Junaids and his broken record regarding height. Even mark Nicholas alluded to it. :70:

This record cant be broken by any Pakistani bowler today.

A question for everyone present here.
Who is the worse commentator among Rameez Raja and Makaya Ntini?

Both Hasan and Amir are not test bowler. They more into T20 bowlers and ODI somehow.

Raining boundaries here. The best bowling attack in the world better reel it in!

Pakistan seem to be going down the route of India back in the 90's. Average 130kph being the norm from a 3 man to a 4 man pace attack.

How things change so quickly...

Did you notice any significant steps or improvement since IK became patron of PCB? Its looks same or little bit worse.

He is good for speeches only. He has appointed a dinosaur who is out of his depth. The only glimmer of hope is Wasim Khan, but he cannot do anything when there is no talent left in Pakistan.

Think these guys are having trouble adjusting to the altitude. They're clearly much faster than the pace they've bowled at.

People worried about the run-rate would do well to have a look at South African bowlers' economy rates throughout this series.

Bowlers trundling in the first session of day 1, but yes they are bowling slow because we didn’t play all-rounders. :101:

It is depressing watching our bowlers speeds. The fastest has been 142 by Hasan so far but all of them are operating at an average in the late 120s. Like seriously, what is the problem with these guys?

This pitch is a paradise if you are a good backfoot player, there is no place to hide for the bowlers apart from movement.
