I'm not here to troll sir. I respect your posts and insights. I'm just watching some good cricket being played by Pakistan here. The only thing I don't like is how you're always negative to Pakistan cricket. Yes we had glory days but every team goes through highs and lows. No need to always criticize our cricket.

J’burg track gets faster in day 2 - not the worst for batting, but you have to be good at back foot, otherwise new ball will trouble PAK tomorrow.
 
What was the man on the boundary on the last ball of the over against Steyn? That could have been out

15 overs of Pak batting will do me a lot of good for the day

Haha but wish they really come back. World cricket needs Pakistan more than the other way around. A strong Pakistan team is blockbuster and crowd puller :wy:yk:inzi2:asif:afridi:ik:ajmal2:wasim

I praise PAK cricket more than anyone and more than it deserves now - but there is some obvious misconception & false bravado, which needs to be addressed, otherwise no point staying in a blog. What I don’t do is sing along the band wagon - your problem is you start reading with a different mindset.

Indeed it does get quicker on the second day when the pores in the wicket seal up effectively hardening the surface. I'm curious as to how Imam plays because I still feel he's suspect against the short ball.
 
9 down, but I still think game went out of control in that 2nd wicket partnership when they raced to 150 at 4. Effectively SAF has lost 8/120 or so & 6/35 - it won’t be easy here.

Yes posters get emotional but it's not false bravado. But that is what makes Pakistan cricket unique, right? Emotional rollercoaster..

For J’burg it was always 523 combination- it’s impossible to operate with 4 pacers with Pakistani fitness. But, if he was fit, I would have gone for Haris here instead of Shadab & extract 15 overs. Also, Shaheen would have been first pick, probably for Fahim.

He should be cautioned by PCB for that. What is he trying to achieve here - this is not his mohalla cricket where Umpire is his buddy!!!!
 
Where have all the critics gone? I like most, was very critical of Pakistan's bowling but this is a great comeback. Give credit where it is due.

Yeah you do make good posts usually. However I do get annoyed by some BD fans thinking's their team is better than ours even though that's false. Our bowling is still very good. If we just got a few good batsmen in (from domestic) we could be a strong team. It's just a bad phase, all teams have them.
 
This is why I have been saying that this is the weakest South African batting line up for decades just like Australia. Abd's retirement just exposed their mediocre middle order. Bavuma and de Bruyn are average, and de Kock is not test material at all.
Faf and Markram are the only good enough ones.

Have zero issue with this. Players don’t want good or bad decisions from umpire, they consistency and Joel Wilson has not been consistent

We have a good batting order for this test. We will score more than 400 in one innings alone. Babar and Shan are due for big ones. Hope you're here tomorrow when we're batting.

Happens every time. Most likely will lose again but atleast have big hearts and praise the team you hate when they perform well even if its one session

Not going to happen . I think something on lines of 225 . Taking a slender lead would be huge .
 
Bits and Pieces players done ok in this match. Shadab bowled ok and Fahim bowled mix but got the results, and good comeback by Hasan. So +1 for PSL.
 
Faheem is just jammy everything he does - bowling, batting and hairstyle...
 
We should have played Faheem Ashraf in last two matches in place of Yasir and could have got different result at least one test in our favour.

I wrote about this since start of series & in both match threads . Ensure you can take 20 wickets economically because you cannot get champion batsmen from what you have right now .
