smashed by irfan for 4 and then our next ball....

Pak 338 all out. Very good effort.
 
A decent total. SA will probably get a lead but Pakistan can match them in the second innings.

Irfan with the ball up next.
 
well we should stand up for now... bowlers to do the work.. well now i will have my lunch... not biryani but subway :P :P :P
 
Cant beleive we let a pie floater like Peterson get 2 wickets :facepalm:
 
This batting effort will make the top order more determined to stick it out against the new ball. All half decent batsmen have cashed in once the ball lost its shine.

I expect N. Jamshed and Azhar Ali to show a bit more restraint.

Hopefully gul is not given the new ball, he will waste it and this new ball is very important to our chances .
 
We have to wait till SA bat to really get an idea about the wicket... It was easy to play on both days once shine was gone, their batsmen are much better than ours, so can't say anything yet...

Opening with Hafeez maybe a good option, since its afternoon session ball may grip and this could surprise SA. Gul may be best to be used after 10 overs... Plus one lefty is out there, they are not used to playing spinner with new red cherry ;-)
 
the pitch looks pretty flat. I expect the saffers to bat as long as we have..if they do probably a draw.

I predict SA batting will go hard at Irfan to dent his confidence and throw him off his line and length
 
Mike Haysman just said that due to Irfan's height...the point of release from this hand will be above sight screen and will be pretty difficult for shorter batsmen.
 
First 20 overs are very important, we need wickets, 4 would be ideal, 2-3 can give us lot of confidence... Let's hope we can do that

Need to take 3 wickets atleast here with new ball and cause some serious damage and inroads.
 
Good to see guls actually trying to bowl a nice full length here, which is not always the case with him. Just needs to get the radar straight now
 
Mobilink advert would have been more realistic if the Tank fired that ball and Misbah "tuked" it
 
im really getting tired of all tlk abt flat pitch, it was good battig surface yet SA no.1 so its good batting effort praise batting effort 2
 
Kepler Wessels continues to downplay Tanvir's effort in Abu Dhabi by harping non stop about how green the wicket was.

Conveniently ignoring the fact that Philander is a huge trundler himself.
 
that is too slow dude, this is some rubbish stuff


Hopefully he improves
