:out leave kallis and he goes..... he is lbw so he should go... someone as old as him shouldnt mae a crying scene like this.
 
Saffers are really big cry babies .. Kallis ... was wrong to ask umpire there ... so much for the best team in the world .. ha ha

Kallis gone... Ajmal is in their heads now... Choke is on. Ajmal does this on day 2 at newlands... They are there for the taking now...as long as de villiers doesn't counter attack
 
Kallis you whining baby we didn't see Mike cry when this happened to him.
 
Not sure why Kallis was standing there and questioning umpire's decision. Davies gave him out for caught but lbw seen on DRS.
 
what is going on, what is Kallis arguing about, dont understand :s
 
what was that drama? everyone just decided to have a chat even after finger was raised. ban/fine for kallis?

Same thing happened to YK yesterday. He wasn't LBW which they appealed for but he was given out on the catch. Kallis wasn't out on the catch which Pakistan appealed for but he was given out LBW which, to be fair, he was.
 
guys this is game on. the fact that pak won't be chasing in the last innings tilts the game in our advantage. We need to maintain the pressure. This session is massive.
 
Davis initially gave it out, and even after the review, it remained out. So then why the heck did he cross his arms before raising his finger (after the review)? Does he not know that you cross your arms only when a decision is overturned? :facepalm:

Yeah its not like its your last match ever..... man didnt see this side of kallis.... surprised davis gave that in our favour...... the commentator is pissed... deal with it guys...
 
what was that YK have the same thing then Kalis is crying not good from him
 
I don't see why Saffers are whining. Yesterday they got a caught behind when they appealed for lbw, so why cry now?

Younis was given lbw, but then it went on review and he was given out for a thin edge

True, forgot about that. Wasn't much conjecture from SA commentators or Younis himself at that time.
 


Saeed Ajmal to Kallis, OUT, Kallis has been given out and he is reviewing it, not quite sure if was given out lbw or caught bat-pad, landed outside off and was spinning back in sharply, Hot Spot showed the bat hitting pad but not ball hitting the edge, Hawkeye shows the ball clipping the leg stump and Steve Davis' decision stays. Now there is confusion. Kallis is perplexed and he isn't leaving just yet, he checks with the umpire what the dismissal was, according to the TV commentators Steve Davis originally gave him out caught, but the tjird umpire Bowden ruled him out lbw. It takes Kallis an eternity to leave the field and there are boos. I guess the crowd's confused as well. Looks like we haven't seen the last of this

This is what happened according to cric info... yes the drs had happened billy gave him out... kallis has to go rather then saying i dont think soo...

I think it was to signal that the caught behind decision has been overturned, but he's now being given out LBW.

Game on? Pakistan are winning this test. Ajmal looks like taking a wicket every over and it's day 2.

Probably need a burst from Irfan to these two, he's looking kind of lethargic in the field though.
 
umpire gives him caught behind. not lbw. so how umpirez call stand?
itz should be only stand if umpire givez lbw out.
ps. just a question. i m very happy to see him in dressing room

Nah bro, Davis made a similar mistake with Amla's dismissal as well. When he was supposed to cross his arms, he simply raised his finger and then later remembered to cross his arms. :))
 
DRINKS... SA going to brew about Ajmal.... England started talking about his action about at this stage... So SA get credit for not starting on that yet
 
I think ICC need to make some changes to the law. One mode of dismissal should be referred. Batsmen should be given out based on that appeal.

Actually he wasn't even given LBW and then Saffers reviewed it. You could tell by their reaction when he was given out CAUGHT that that was not what they had in mind but they took it. So Kallis should not whine now.
