This is why left arm spinners are always a defensive option, no venom in their bowling at all just straight arm balls.

What a match that was though.

Pakistani players on most occasions just choke in comparison to the Indians, have seen it happen too many times in the recent past. The tide is turning big time in Pak-India encounters.
 
Well you can blame dropping Qadir, Babar not bowling, etc. but it's mainly the batting's fault. But you know what, these are kids, and things happen, we can be proud they fought.
 
Tough luck Pakistan.. but there is always a next time.. or next to next... or... :yk
But, well played both sides, Pak showed a lot of heart defending this nothing total.
 
The Pakistan team played with a lot of heart to even make a competitive match out of this and to have a decent opportunity to win at the end. India suffered a nervous breakdown with their batting, as they have often through this tournament. Hopefully they'll manage to be more stable and consistent in the semi-finals.

It more applies to you if we take U19 history of Pak vs Ind into consideration.
 
I can't thank Pakistan under 19 enough for providing game like this! Only side that could have defended this! Respect!
 
Well, where are the Aussies and the English today?? People who say that Ashes is the greatest rivalry, need to see this.

Great great match, among two countries that never want to lose against each other.

India brainfarted on many occasions! India Pak made this match interesting otherwise could have been much easier.... but giving the credit where it's due,, Pak played well

exactly ..we all can talk about how great the game was...

but its really poor performance at end 15 runs with 5 wickets left in hand and more than 75/80 balls remaining...:facepalm:

why Sehwag comes into picture...no one can teach Viru anything now...either paly him or drop him...
 
The problem with Pak/Ind games for batsmen is that the pressure is more than anything they have ever faced before. Bowlers can bowl a few bad ones but it only takes a good delivery or two to for the bowlers to get a wicket and get their confidence and rhythm back. On the hand batsmen just get too nervous, one or two poor shots or misjudgments, and their day is over.

I disagree. He is better player of spin than he gets credit for. Chand bats like Misbah vs spin. lol. (that is not a bad thing btw.)

In regards to Pak, he said that they've played 3 really close games, one lost by 1 run, one tied, and one won by a wicket, so they really have a great time or something playing us. He also said he wishes all the best to the Pakistani players.

Indian origin player took NZ to semi final. Ish Sodhi blasted 18 off 50th over. :))
