Pakistan U19s (155) through to the semi-finals with a narrow 5-run win over Bangladesh U19s (150) in their last Super-6 game of ICC U19 World Cup 2024

No matter what format or stage of Cricket you watch. Always a treat to watch Pakistani pacers when they have their tail up.

Whoever goes through here (Pakistan most likely) will face Australia in semi-final.

Ali Raza and Ubaid Shah have put up a show. Now they need the supporting bowlers to chip in with a wicket or two. Play their 'supporting' role.

England won their last game of the Super Six stage of the ICC Men's U19 Cricket World Cup against Zimbabwe, but it wasn't enough to secure qualification to the semi-finals.

Previous results in the competition meant England were unable to progress to join India, Australia, South Africa in the last four but they signed off in style with 17-year-old Warwickshire leg-spinner Tazeem Ali recording figures of 7-29.

England batted first and were indebted to Charlie Allison, his 76 belying a slight wobble to take his team to 237-7.

Opening bat Theo Wylie made 61, while Hamza Sheikh was controversially given out obstructing the field.

In reply it was the Tazeem Ali show, awarded Player of the Match after taking the last seven wickets to fall.

His haul came after two early wickets for Charlie Barnard and one for Jaydn Denly, meaning all England’s wickets went to spinners.

BD tail should start slogging.

29 are needed from 40 balls to secure semi qualification.

What do you think of these BD players? I think most of these will make it to national tem.

They often do well at U-19 level. But, most of them go missing when they come to senior's team.

These guys don't seem as great as the 2020 batch (the side that won the U-19 World Cup).

Really Zeeshan has disappointed. Not ready for the big stage
