Good assessment. Warner and Rogers tend to get devastating starts in these situations only for a collapse to ensue. I expect more of that this time, but really unless Warner plays out of his skin, the rest can't win or survive a day vs the Pakistani spinners.

Can't agree with this though. There were 9 wickets left and only 100 needed, so they definitely needed to bat faster than they were doing. The fact that they can score 20 in a good over just demonstrates how flawed the earlier approach was.

Pretty much yeah, let the team know what's coming so the Pakistani bowlers have the tea break to get ready to bowl but it messes with the Aussie openers who will already be visualising coming out to bat immediately after tea and trying to get into the right mindset.

2 out of your 3 best bowlers are injury prone. They might play a couple of series every few years if they are lucky lol.

And starc isnt anything special in tests. Siddle has a better record than him.
