This isn't a SC side batting last, any turn be it slow or fast touring teams will struggle.

England played very well against slow turn in Ahmedabad 2nd innings (which they eventually lost).

Plus when planning, its important to consider that aspect that the pitch could be flat if you are 250-2. That doesn't mean you have no confidence in yourself but just means your plans are thoroughly taking care of all scenarios.
