unless asif suddenly changes 18 gears hes not playing for pakistan anytime soon again, and now you have an out of form gul with the only other replacement match cold.

Has Asif been training at all during his layoff? He looks pretty unfit. Should've kept his fitness levels up like Lee did during his enforced stay on the sidelines.
 
Exactly what was expected, Asif and Gul going to get tonked and Australia will win by 7 wickets.

Put it this way, if the OZ had that kind of casual attitude Ponting would have been giving them a royal spray. Even if you've already made the semis you don't want to lose momentum.

Lets take it as a wild guess and assume that Pakistan from here onwards pull it off, and manage to win the game. And India loses to WI then what. What are the Indians going to cry about then, as they have found a good excuse for now that Pakistan is deliberately throwing it away.
