Oh man! . I missed all the action on PP . Oh well might as well give my opinion on the match .

All I can say is

well played Australia and Pakistan . You showed the world that ODIs can be as exciting as T20s . ODIs still got a future .

Unless they won it, the fightback wasn't enough. The reason we lost it was cuz Aus needed it more. Simple as that.

The pathetic late batting by MoYo, Misbah, and others cost us the match -- we were short ~20-40 runs that we could have easily gotten.

Our bowlers did a great job, but they can go only so far. Asif proved to be a better bowler than Gul in the end (esp. his swing was back in the second spell), and with Ajmal, created the fightback opportunity for us.

Misbah should be kicked out of the semi + final, MoYo disciplined, and U Akmal moved up a spot.

The bowling combo: Aamer, Asif, Rana, Ajmal, and Afridi.

Clearly you didn't see how difficult it was to score on this pitch throughout the game, specially when the ball got old. Even the Australians batted slowly, poorly so I wouldn't blame our batsmen completely

That is what happens when Malik refuses to open and Afridi has to open, there is no finisher at the end. Yousef is the backbone of the batting, not a hitter, and although Misbah is a good hitter, he couldn't get it going today.

No, clearly, you missed out on how badly our players did in the last 10 overs. It was horrible. Aus lower mid to tail end struggled, not their key players.

And they slowed down because they realized they only needed to win the match. If they win it, net run rate is no longer an issue.
