we need to make better use of the conditions and the new ball, if we let the aussies settle in they will make us pay. Asif needs to bend his back a bit more..... his swing is being easily tracked from the hand by Katich and Clarke at the moment - conditions are tailor made for him!!

mate give him a break. 5 overs for 9 aint bad. especially when 5 of the runs came off his last over. :gul

Totally agree with u. Holding was saying that pakistani players need to be more patience in Test cricket. i would say its our fans who need more patience then our cricket team. Some people are just not meant to watch test cricket.

why do all pak bowlers look so tired like they have been laying bricks all day.. they need to work on their stamina.

Pakistan losing control here. We need a wicket and runs to dry up!

Welcome Rizwan, great to see you here !

maybe persist with the fast bowlers for a couple more overs, then bring on spin.

Gul looking to bowl Katich round his legs coz hes shuffling so much!

The only started playing test cricket a year ago. You should have seen them that time.

match still even..a wicket here and we back in it..if they carry on then aussies will be in front..no need to panic just yet!!

Unbelievable how fickle pa fans are. Asif is one of the best test match bowlers in the world. He doesnt get a wicket today, and suddenly he is rubbish!

Kaneria bringing in some much-needed aggression, hope Kamran can hold his catches agaisnt Danish !

He's a top top bowler - but seems to be lacking in pace/zip today...

If Warne was bowling somehow I reckon that LBW appeal would have been upheld!!!

Why did the umpire give the benefit of the doubt (there was very little) to the batsmen? He padded up and the ball hit him inside and was going to hit the stumps.

Once again, arent they using the review system in this series?

no, only in the england test series.
aus were not willing for urds to be used here.

That was plumb was it not?

Umpires said we were unlucky before, was that also a given out?

they're not because the icc and sky team could not agree upon it..refferels apparently require extra cameras/equipment and the ICC refuses to fund it and Sky refuse to finance it themselves..This is the case with all the games covered by Sky...

He did not pad the ball away.

He played a stroke and thus the decision became a tight one as once you play a shot the ball has to strike the pad within the line of the stumps.

If he had padded it like you stated then it would have been an easy decision.

ahh..ok that makes more sense.

So katich has already been out twice now

Slow mo suggests Ball pitched outside off.

it doesnt matter if it did pitch outside offstump, its where the ball hits the pads and in this instance it did hit him in line...

Umpires are not giving the bowlers any chance on CLOSE shouts which are more probably out.

I just hope they maintain the same level of decision making and be consistent when its our turn to bat. That's all I would want now.

well then why are they being used for the england series?

ASIF looked bit threatening.. in early spell.. but umar gull is looking wayward... his bowling doesnt look all planned..

he should be using his reverse swing yorkers skills in his next spell.. thats the time he can deliver his best
