Rudi sahib has lost it for a while now. Not really surprised he couldnt line up that blatant LBW from Kaneria.

I suppose one shouldnt be too surprised by Gould's 2 poor decisions either. Had England still be waiting to play Australia this season I would have had little doubt he wouldve hesitated to give both LBWs out straight away.

I was always saying that an extra seamer should be picked instead of kaneria...
 
Afridi still thinks he's the best. I have no idea why he isn't bowling. Probably thinks if the Aussies murder his bowling, he'll never bowl in tests again.
 
People need to stop slitting their wrists.

This is a partnership.

We get maybe a wicket or two soon, we're right back on top

Every appeal by us should be upheld, and every appeal against us should be ignored!!

Cmon guys, 9/10 umpires will not give that one out. If ppers can keep emotions away from the game, this discussion can be so much more healthy.

Sure, but he ain't getting too much help on the other end now. Either Afridi should bring himself on or, bring Aamer in.
 
Maybe Gul should think of each session in a test match as a mini odi match. This might make him bowl the correct length.

Wanre is right, Kaneria doesnt know how to set up a batsman...No patience whatsoever!

He normally bowls a lot better once he takes a wicket. Amir back on, good move by Afridi.

we are badly missing a good backup bowler to Asif and Aamer. Just too much pressure on these guys to get wickets all the time

You cannot for a moment convince me that the Umpiring has been satisfactory so far. I have not watched every ball today yet have also seen 2 'No-balls' given for 2 legitimate deliveries. I also understand Gould was taking a light reading during an over. That is not good practice, and overall he and Rudi have both been poor so far.
 
probably trying to bowl him behind his legs but it ain't working. time to forget that plan.

Aamer back into the attack. No captain yet. Australia improve a lot the run rate in this partnership.
 
Why is Amir bowling round the wicket to Clarke??? He should atleast try and bowl from over the wicket to see if the ball is still swinging, which it should be!
 
Afridi should bowl now. We have to break this partnership.
 
Pakistans strength in this series is bowling..if we cant take wickets in overcast conditions then the chances are bleak for a series win :(

I thought that Asif is the backup bowler
 
Only problem is that it's going to be hard to take a wicket without one of the batsmen really making a mistake because it's such a flat wicket and these are so well set

for the love of God stop crying! he got him a couple of times in Australia that way, he's trying it again.
 
lol ian Gould cost us the match:( if he would have given those 2-3 earlier LBW's we would have been on TOP!
 
Amazingly in swinging conditions, especially in the morning, we've seen no nicks behind the wicket...

I think the wicket is extremely slow...
