Farhat and Butt in Australia did tend to bat well for 10/12 overs and then lose concentration.

We cant afford that here at all!

3.3
Hilfenhaus to Salman Butt, FOUR, 83.8 mph, on the pads, and flicked in the air, through midwicket. There was a fielder hovering, but he placed it well enough

I hope he does it for a long time. Make them change their line rather then you go after the wide ball with four slips in place.

yeah .. PAtience is the key :)

You can see what the game plan is from Australia, swing it into Butts pad. There is swing there but perhaps not as much as yesterday.

very biased by crapinfo (as u guys call it)

they see a good ball but dont see the good stop batsman offers :pissed:

Pakistan | 0/11 | 4 Overs | Trail by 242 runs

1st four for Salman Butt.

Good to see bad balls been put away and no flashing outside off-stick!

Hilfy is getting some bend into leftys.

I just hope both batsmen continue to play straight and not accross the line!

Warne is talking more about variety than woman do about clothes variety

Interesting move to remove Dougie after just two overs!!

Is Ricky panicking and thus experimenting?

Oh, please!

There was no bias.

Calm down :)

When does the shine of new ball disappear? After 10-15 overs?

11/0

Good to see that Farhat and Butt are not groping in dark as they usually do.

129 is the highest partnership between these two

That was in NZ 09

They also made 120 ought runs partnership against Aussies at sydney

guys, i heard during the last ashes series, that after 10-15 overs if the conditions are right then the duke ball will swing, and certainly jimmy anderson got it to swing around that time. So lets hope that is not the case here.

Someone tell me about the conditions please? Are the Australians getting as much seam/swing as us yet? And are they bowling well?

This is the exact approach we needed

Just let yourselves settle down, and do the scoring once the Aussies get annoyed

Not much swing there

They're clearly putting in more effort in us but they've been quite wide to us. Our batsmen are leaving a lot of balls alone, and rightfully so. There is some lateral movement there for the Aussie bowlers with this new ball
