I've never been a fan of Shadab, he's massively overrated on PP. I would prefer a better spinner who can average 15 with the bat over him, so I have no disagreements on this point.

As for Faheem, he shouldn't even be playing for our A team.

But I feel we need to keep Imad at 7, otherwise we will have a long tail. Can't afford to carry an accumulator at that spot either.

I agree that's why I'm saying the ideal combination is 5 batsmen, WK, best AR (at 7), and four specialist bowlers.

Unless you have quality ARs like England, we're better off just picking the best AR we have (Imad which says a lot about our weak AR depth) and using specialists to fill the other positions.

It's obvious by now that is what the team is trying. Leaving aside the NRR qualification nonsense, will need a good score, Bangladesh are an excellent chasing side.
