can we have more than 90 overs in the day , as other team bowling their overs quicker or its just 90 over & close of play. Can someone tell me the rule here?

Shafiq needs to settle down as he looks like he could throw his wicket away at somepoint.

A nice 50 aint going to help pakistan here, we need a big 100 and new ball is due soon.

Really hard work starts now with new ball due very shortly. Asad will need to combat it alot better then he did in 1st test!

90 overs = close of play

Well thats what I thought , but on the commentary team they were saying they can have more time cause they bowled quicker. Was just wondering what was that all about. May be they were referring they can switch more cos they are in comfort zone with bowling hour rate.

England over-rate has been brilliant should end up with 95 overs being bowled today!

Adnan against the new ball again then. Not sure if he will last this time.

Dreadful shot at a crucial time!

Decent knock but IMO Jury's still out.

really needless....problem with the youngsters get to fifty then start thinking they can slog

All hopes with the Adnan now. Hopefully he can bat in the same manner as he did in the first test.

Pakistan going to fold quickly now. A first innings score of around 250 is just going to a around par considering the Pakistani bowling attack

poor poor shot selection by shafiq really not needed with attitude like this it will always be hard to go for big scores.

Beg borrow and steal your way to 300 and it's a good score.

I will not consider shafiq unlucky but rather stupid to play this shot.

Shafiq throws it away just as i thought he would! idiot!

Adnan and misbah will need to get through new ball once again!

england on top now!

Difference between a class player and an average one...

They go onto convert the 50's to big scores our youngsters have the mentality that once you get to 50 you have done your job

The way they use DRS is really stupid. With these type of decisions there should be no 'umpires call' because the path is not being predicted. This is actually where the ball hits the batsmen. But whether it hits the stump or not there can 'umpires decision' because that is only a projected path and can be wrong as there's so many factors to consider.

flat pitch, only real assistance was morning and early afternoon.

come on England.
