I would have thought England would keep 3 slips in these conditions, especially with Lewis bowling

Its tough out there but pakistan have to stick it out and not lose wickets, conserving wickets here at moment is more important!
 
2.1 - Short and forced out to square fine leg, 2 runs to Farhat
2.2 - Mis-timed drive with an inside edge to mid-wicket
2.3 - Edge in the corridor outside off, falls short of Read
2.4 - Another edge, goes through the slips and down to 3rd man for a single
2.5 - played straight back to the bowler off a full length, no run
2.6 - away swinger, beats Hafeez's outside edge through to Read

conditions are ripe for bowling at the moment. bowlers taking advantage too. our openers have to stick it out.
 
We're going under 2 an over. That is just too poor. Thats why we need an Afridi to open, ,or a Razzaq!
 
Long as the openers don't lose their wickets...I think we are set for a big total
 
it's surprising how quick thing can turn around once you play out the new ball a bit.

for once can you stop whinning and actually use some sense and look at the conditions.

afridi is averaging about 15 runs or so in his last 15 odis, so god knows what impact youre begging for!

I'm begging for some type of contribution from Afridi. Quick-fire 50 from Afridi will help
 
Broad again to start

4.1 - outside offstump, beats the outside edge of Hafeez
4.2 - very wide down legside, Read does well to get over to it but can't stop the pair running a single, 9/0
4.2 - Farhat leaves outside off stump
4.3 - 4 leg byes down to fine leg, 13/0
4.4 - straight ball, showed the makers name by Farhat
4.5 - Inside edge by Farhat, goes to fine leg and they take a single, 14/0
4.6 - outside off and left by Hafeez

More like a quick 5 in his current form!

stop been so fickle and just enjoy the game and relax!
 
I would rather see that quick fire 50 from him down the order where he has more chances of scoring runs...wouldn't mind someone else joining him in scoring more quick runs in the end

I dunno, hes due for a 50, but I'm not getting my hopes high
 
Well if we can hold onto wickets then we have a lot of firepower after the 20th over or so to break lose.

they're working through this. A breakthourgh now would be really damaging but if they can hold on for a bit more the runs will flow.

dont be such a spoil sport Rob... let em have fun. This isnt Lords and its nice to have some atmosphere ( ofcourse, I can say that sitting thousands of miles away !)
