It's a disappointing turnout, you'd probably see more fans in the UAE.

Is it a Karachi thing?

The commentators talked about fans in Karachi not turning out for the Tests as well.

Are other cities better? Regardless, should host games in other cities if Karachi fans don't want to watch.

Really kills the vibe of games playing in an empty stadium.

This is more of a typical Karachi ODI wicket. Even in the 2000s scores of 300+ were often made.

The last match was on the same surface as the 1st Test.
 
320-330 is always par here in karachi. NZ were well restricted in 1st game. Interesting to see if our batting can chase 300+
 
Spin is going to kill us I reckon.

Keep us under 300.

It’s just Karachi mainly and the games shouldn’t be played in Karachi pathetic crowds as usual.

It was a rough game for the batsmen with no one going on with starts.

We usually rely on one of our top 4 going big and the others contributing here and there.

Phillips and Bracewell with 20 overs and a platform could be good to watch.
 
That clearly hit the pad wth and was the catch taken why did the bails come off nothing else was shown ???
 
This is a terrible broadcast a review taken looked plumb you can clearly see the the ball behind the bag thudding into the pad no replay shown what happened after that bails came did the bounce no one knows anything

I agree it’s pathetic. As you have said we had more crowds in UAE then here. Pcb needs to stop hosting games here.

Pakistani commentators seemed really annoyed by it and criticized Karachi fans for not turning up for the Tests.

They are rightly annoyed it’s been happening for a while now. It’s up to PCB to stop hosting future games here. It honestly is embarrassing with how small the turn up is.

That is not the case Im sure there were bigger crowds for Zimbabwe even. Its the Karachi lot not coming out much,but crowds get much better later as it did in the first match.

Nz saw how Pakistan struggled against spin. Good decision to play 3 spinners. Also the scoreboard pressure will be there. NZ doing the right thing.
 
So how much we need to score here to successfully defend it? I would say 280 is minimum

He is actually safe fielder, but yes pathetic captain and a great batsman.
 
NZ setting a strong and solid base here. Babar falling asleep in field as usual
 
Our fielding was very good in 1st ODI, been a letdown today.
 
very bad fielding three drop catches...my prediction of 2 1 defeat unfortunately looks like to be right
 
Ranas curse taking over Rizwan he’s amazing when keeping inside of the field as soon as the ball goes into the leg side he messes up
 
330 on the cards Newzeland have gained momentum. Williamson goes into kohli beast mode after he gets past 70
