Even if NZ want to cancel tour why would Pakistan agree to it?

I did not say PCB should agree. I said If you dont feel good to continue , do it. But If you agree to continue it then put your full effort.

Dangerous to have bats placed out there near the boundary rope

This is a different sort of tragedy but you gotta move on. Hughes has received tremendous tribute from across the globe and we even called of day 2 but time to play cricket now.

You got to realize somebody died because of cricket, with same red cherry we all play for 200 years. It's not on/off switch, it will feel different the very next day. they will get better as day progress...

Infact NZ pacers have bowled really well today, but body language is just too soft

Hafeez is a very brave captain. He will pull if there is one to..

Lols didn't Ramiz understand the bouncer stuff?

Rameez's commentary looks gold here, he is commenting on game rather than PH tragedy

This.

All NZ players should be given energy drinks after every half an hour.

Great to see Rameez doing it in right way. Few words at start about huges and then move on.

Rameez actually can feel this tragedy more than most people, his brother died on cricket field i think

Why is Pakistan playing such boring cricket?

They aren't, it's just players like Shan Masood, Azhar Ali, Misbah and Shafiq are boring.

End of the day sports isn't about winning or losing, it's about providing entertainment to fans. It isn't meant to bore fans to death, I wonder what players like Azhar think how fans feel watching him block ball after ball for no apparent reason.

Yes, that's one of the reasons why I have stopped watching Pak play test cricket. The batsmen (apart from Sarfraz) are just to boring to watch.

Sports is about winning, it is a Job first and entertainment 2nd

Likes of Misbah, Azhar, Younus etc just whitewashed Aussies

ok this is something which i don't think i have ever said, glad rameez is commentating right now.

dont know why but no excitement left in this test and in general in cricket. I can feel how players must be feeling out there.

No, you need to look at the wider picture, it's a form of entertainment. Entertainment comes from playing competitively. It took me a while to get my head around it as I always thought it's about winning, but when you are talking about watched sports it is about entertainment.

Got to feel for players..they are dejected...Was Willaimson his team mate in any team??

LOL at people saying Players are playing slow, Test cricket is always slow. You gotta play for 5 days.

You people would have died if you were to watch tests before 90s.

Hafeez really playing for his double here, just get on with it man, you have already got 196 previously so just hit a big one!

Man hate the fact you can't edit anymore.

But I resent that statement. It is the primary reason we have soo many "seniors" desperate to cling on to their spots or reclaim their place back in the team.

Looking at other countries you see great players retiring just for the very reason of giving youngsters chances, even Smith retired at a relatively young age to give de Kock a chance.

It's a privilege playing for your country as you are meant to be the top crop of 180 million people. The only "job" you have is making sure you perform and perform adequately, not desperately playing just to secure your spot for financial reasons regardless. Last match was easily winnable.

going to be a tough day of cricket. I don't really feel much interest in watching it ether.

Things will slowly get back to normal but its going to take the players a while.

They are paid professional players, who need to win games for their country

Some players do that in fashionable way like VIV and Waz, some may not entertain much but still are greats of the game like Sunil gavaskar, Dravide etc.

Ultimately i would want my team to win match, then to score at 6 RPO in test match and lose the match

Modern day test cricket has evolved... Players have to play at a decent pace now days.

I think Hafeez needs to get out of this nervous double and play like he has before.

Well, I guess he is feeling a little nervous being so close to the milestone.

Well you won't be winning any matches if we bat like we did in the second innings last match.

I would rather see my team go at 6rpo and losing because at least they showed fight. I am saying this based on the CT 2013 which I had the displeasure of watching live. The timid nature of "batting out 50 overs" was disgraceful with zero fight. The modern game has changed so much and so fast it's unbelievable.

Look at Shafiq's approach atm, we are in a strong position and his tuk tuking. Okay this is a test match fair enough but this is his natural ability, if he was a genuine ODI number 3 batsman he would naturally score at a faster rate than he is doing now at a 28 strike rate. A number 3 should be able to take the initiative from ball 1, regardless of what format.

Highest score for Hafeez, should dedicate his Double to Hughes if he gets there

Embarrassing lmao.

Afridi fan clearly I assume.

Shafiq is not a genuine ODI no. 3

But he is a decent test no. 6

I havent said this team is perfect, but still best we have got, apart Shan all others are best available options

Strong position? 290/4

Whats the benefit of playing at 6rpo when it cant help to win the match.

Missed out on two double hundreds, both on short pitched long hops by spinners. Got over excited there.

Anyhow well played.

everything has its own beauty which vary it from others,

Hafeez has some serious mental issue when he is seeing any given finish line. More mental than not having the ability to reach 200 is more of factor here. Him being labelled a bottler is practically one of the most correct analogies ever to be established on PP. Was just 3 runs from a great milestone, why on earth would you play that shot

Having said that, the most inform batsman arrives at the crease, due a failure but lets hope it does not surface right now. We really need these two to dig in and play out at least until 1 hour after lunch.

More than a double 100, Pakistan are in spot of bother now due to a pathetic shot when there was an outfielder there

I disagree, I think we have better batting all-rounders than Hafeez, whilst Shan and Taufeeq are beyond terrible. Fawad Alam can score more runs batting right-handed than Azhar and Shafiq combined. Haris Sohail is also better than the 2 aforementioned players.

Our bowling is good and selected on merit, but sometimes do also select players when they are too old like Zulfiqar. Also we have outstanding bowlers like Sadaf rotting in domestic.

Yes 290/4 is a strong position, obviously it doesn't appear so because of the mammoth scores we got recently, but to be at 300 with 6 wickets in hand is a strong position and there is no two ways about it.
